There's a mirror the Dead Men encounter on an adventure that reflects the onlooker's greatest fear. Legend tells that he who fears nothing sees a blank mirror without his reflection looking back at him.
So they all stand in front of it and see different depictions of their greatest fears, and Skulduggery is the last to stand in front of it and everyone expects the mirror to be blank; But it's not. He stands in front of the mirror and, much to his horror, sees himself holding a gun to Valkyrie's head.
