China fell in love with Skulduggery a long time ago, due to the fact that he is one of the only ones immune to her beauty, but he wouldn't leave his family for her which gave China the rage to go up against his wife and deliver his family to Serpine. She still loves him, to this day, but tries to keep him at a distance because it's her fault he is now a skeleton.
