[Third person's point of view]

The night is as silent as the grave, everyone is sound asleep, not knowing that disaster is about to strike.

The screams of your mom woke you up from your slumber, voices echoed down the hallway and you shot up from your bed from shock.

Putting on your favourite coloured sneakers, you crept towards the door and put your ear against the door, trying to hear what is going on.

Although the voices sounded muffle, you knew there were 3 guys arguing with your parents.

"She's already past 18, according to the deal, shouldn't you hand her over to us long time ago?"

'Deal?' You furrowed your brows in confusion.

"I-I'm sorry! Please give me some more time, I just want to spend more time with her," you heard your dad cry out.

"No, I had gave you ample time. I'll be taking her, if you dare cross me, I won't hesitate to take you down," the unfamiliar man threatened and the footsteps became louder and louder.

Your parents were crying and pleading the man, and you stumbled away from the door, your heart racing faster by the second.

'I have to escape!' You thought and made your way towards the window but the door swung open and two big men charged towards you.

Within seconds, you were forced to leave with them as they overpowered you.

"What a beauty," the man grinned and your watery eyes fixated on your parents, who held guilty expressions on their faces.

With a trembling voice, you mustered up courage to ask, "Before I go, may I know what's going on?"

There was silence for a few moments. Then, with a nudge from your mother, your father explained.

"Weeks after you were born, our village fell into the hands of poverty and severe drought. When we were on the brink of death, Mr. Akaashi came and made an offer. If we give you away to his family when you turn 18, the whole village will be saved."

"That's nonsense. Give me away? That's a nice way to put it. You're practically selling your daughter away!" You gritted your teeth and tears spilled from your eyes.

Your mother was still crying, your father remaining silent. Your heart ached as you took one last look at your parents, the family photos hung on the walls and reminiscing the past.

There was a posh car outside the village. With a sunken heart, you entered the car and it closed when Mr Akaashi followed behind you.

The car drove by the huts, and they became smaller and smaller by the drive. Your eyes became heavy, and soon, you fell into a deep sleep.

Hours later, "Wake up, young lady," Mr Akaashi tapped your shoulder.

Your eyes flutter open and realised the sun had already rose. Orange and yellow painted the sky and you could not help yourself but awe at the beautiful view.

"Where are we?" You blurted, your eyes still fixed on the sky.

"Tokyo," Mr Akaashi replied as he exited the car. You trailed behind him and came face to face with a huge mansion.

Your mouth formed an 'o' as you scanned the exquisite building.

You gaped at every little thing you see

You gaped at every little thing you see. The tall buildings surrounding you and the faint city lights dimmed by the sunrise.

Silence filled the elevator and the ride felt like hours. As you glanced at the number, you almost fainted. The numbers kept going up and soon, you came to the 36th floor.

'It would be disastrous if the all the lifts break down one day' You shook your head and followed closely behind Mr Akaashi

You came to a halt when you realised he had already went into the house. You thought to yourself, 'I have an opportunity to escape'.

"What are you waiting for, come in!" His deep voice ordered and your legs began to move accordingly.

The interior of the house was elegant and classy. You were led into the dining table where the Akaashi family were having breakfast.

"So, she's the girl?" A woman examined you with her emerald eyes, and you could not help but feel shy.

"Yeah. Where's Keiji?" Mr Akaashi asked his wife, who had those pretty green eyes.

"He'll be here shortly, Father," a young girl answered, and Mr Akaashi simply acknowledged with a small nod.

Mr Akaashi signalled you to sit beside the young girl, and you awkwardly took your seat. To clear up the awkwardness, the young girl, who looked around 14, introduced herself. "Hello, onee-chan! I'm Akaashi Keira. I'm 15 years old and I have an older brother named Akaashi Keiji."

You nodded shyly and introduced yourself as well. "I'm Seiryuu, 17 years old."

You continued to let your eyes wander around. 'They have stairs at their tall apartment too? And the television is bigger than my old dining table! Wow, the chandelier looks more expensive than my whole entire village...'

Then, clicking sounds came from the polished marble stairs. From the silhouette, you can tell the guy is around six feet tall. His slim figure seemed well built and he had short black curly hair like his father.

You noticed you were staring too long and anticipating too much, so you kept your eyes down on your plate of food.

"Good morning Father, Mother and Kei-chan," his deep and melodic voice reached your ears and you felt your heart pounding hard and fast.

He took a seat across you and you clenched the fork in your palm, too shy to look at the young man.

His eyes fell on you, and he asked, "Excuse my rudeness, but who are you?"

Your eyes slowly made its way up to him, and you were a little taken aback by his attractive and stunning features.

He had a pair of deep emerald eyes, his face was sharp like a 'v' shape and 'his pinkish lips looks delicious'.

'Wait, what?' You were astonished by that weird voice in your head.

Seeing that you did not know how to approach Keiji's sudden question, his father answered for you instead.

"She's Seiryuu. Your future wife."
