Chapter 15

When we opened the doors to the dress shop my manager told me there was something for me on the desk, I walked over a noticed a bouquet just like the one I found in the trash 

To Banana,

My heart swooned at the note. 

"From Tae?" Jungkook asked from behind me
"Yeah" I said softly 
"At least he's trying" 
"He is" I admitted and nodded my head 
"why didn't he just send them to the house?"
"I'm not sure" I said furrowing my eyebrows "it would make more sense.." 

We stood there for a bit longer, and then we got started on our shifts. 

By the time we made it home we were both exhausted, Jungkook's phone rang, it was Yoongi
"Hey hyung" he walked away to have his conversation while I laid on the sofa with my eyes closed, he came back a few minutes later
"All of the guys want to come over..including Tae. Is that okay?" 
"It's your house kookie" I chuckled "do what you want. If I get uncomfortable I can just go lay in your bed and wait for you" I winked making him blush 
"I wouldn't mind that at all" he licked his bottom lip and put the phone back to his ear 
"Yeah you guys can come over. I'll order pizza just bring some beer, Anna likes the hard apple cider so bring that" he winked at me making me smile. 

I wasn't sure how I would react seeing Tae after Jungkook and I have had sex. 
I felt awkward already. I stood up and put the flowers in a vase before changing into some sweatpants and a tshirt, Jungkook followed suit and we sat on the sofa together watching a movie, the pizza came and as we were setting up for the guys to come over there was a knock on the door.

Jungkook grabbed my face and kissed me quickly 
"I won't be able to do that with any of them here" he whispered and kissed my lips again making me giggle and shove his chest, he laughed as he opened the door and all six of the guys walked in carrying beer and booze. 

"Jungkookie!" Hoseok announced as he hugged him, making Jungkook laugh and hug him back, they all greeted and hugged Jungkook, including Tae. And then they all greeted me and showered me in hugs. The hug exchanged between Tae and I was slightly awkward, but nothing too terrible. I grabbed plates from the kitchen and Tae followed me
"I see you got the flowers" 
"I did, thank you" I smiled wide at him 
"Of course" he smiled as he helped me carry all of the plates for everyone out into the living room.

I sat down and we all dug into the pizza, I was sitting between Hoseok and Namjoon while I munched away on my pizza, I was happy to be hanging out with them. Tae always kept us separated except for special events..but Jungkook could care less. He even asked me permission if they could be here. 
In his own home. 
That small gesture and bit of consideration made me smile wide. 
I might not be in love with him..but maybe it wouldn't hurt to see where this goes? 

I shook my head at the thought. 

I'm far too in love with Tae to be in a relationship with anyone. Especially someone as amazing as Jungkook. 
I can't hurt him like that. 
I know he's not in love with me, but he still has feelings. 

When I finished eating I took my plate into the kitchen to put it in the sink, I felt a hand grab my ass making me jump, I turned to see a grinning Jungkook. 

Taehyung POV 

I watched her walk into the kitchen with Jungkook quietly on her tail, I leaned back in my seat just in time to watch him grab her ass. My heart started beating fast waiting to see how she reacted, she was jumpy at first but then laughed it off and swatted him away
"Will you stop" she whispered 
"I can't help it noona" he whispered back making her face flush 

Realization sunk in. 

They had had sex. 

My plan couldn't wait any longer. I needed to act on it and get her back. He could fuck her all he wanted..but ultimately I own her heart.
I will not let anyone have it. 

I continued to watch their banter in the kitchen as he slipped his hands between her legs making her clamp her thighs shut, he smirked as she giggled and tried to push him away, he pointed at his cheek which she tiptoed to kiss and then he let her go. He walked back out into the living room like nothing had ever happened. 

I can't even be mad at him. 
He has no idea what I feel for her, and if he genuinely knew, he would never do such a thing to betray me. Aside from Anna he's my best friend and we always have each other's backs. I gave him permission to go after her and all he did was seize his opportunity, if it had been any other girl I would've congratulated him and gave him a pat on the back for getting his dick wet. 

I need to tell him my feelings for her before they get further involved. 
But that could backfire. He could tell me "I'm sorry hyung..but I really like her and you fucked up. Not me." 
And he wouldn't be wrong. 

I enjoyed my time with the guys and Anna as we all drank and ate until we felt so stuffed we  could hardly move. We played video games together in a tournament setting, when I beat Anna at Mario Kart she pushed me over and smacked me like she always did as we both laughed our asses off. 

I needed that. 

I craved even the little things like that. 
And she didn't hesitate. 
It didn't matter that Jungkook witnessed it.
That tells me, I still have a chance. 

My silent victory. Her body language told me everything I needed to know. 

When I got back to our apartment that night after hugging her goodbye and pecking her forehead I fell asleep in her bed with a smile on my face.
