The next morning I woke up with a headache "maybe the injection from yesterday" I thought. I climbed out of bed and started toward the cafeteria. I try not to fly as much as I can because when I do it draws attention to me and that is something I don't want. Speaking of attention why all of a sudden do boys want to hang out with me? When I reached the cafeteria the aroma of gluten free pancakes and lemonade filled the air. There weren't many food options so I took a salad and a bagel then waited in line.
Once I was in the front of the line I caught a glimpse of what looked to be Jay walking in a black suit with Wildfire. "Excuse me young lady" one of the lunch ladies yelled. "Sorry" I said looking down. What could Jay and Wildfire possibly be doing and how is Wildfire not dead for hanging out with a Murnah? I quickly ate my breakfast and flew back to my dorm then flew up the shaft I built that lead to the roof of the building. There I saw it, the dome, a light greenish cylinder that covered the lab like a force field. I had never seen it before because I have only been out here in the dark. Then I spotted them, walking with other Murnahs talking and chatting, what could they be doing? In front of them laid a map about the size of a pillow that was blue and had the entire lab including the dome on it. I flew to a nearby tree and turned invisible but then everything went black.
I woke up in the nurses office covered in bruises and scars and Jay by my side. "What happened to you?" He sounded worried. "What are you doing here?" I said faintly. "I asked you first" he said. "I don't know. I just blacked out. How did you find me?" I said turning on my side and grunting. "You know that injection I gave you yesterday?" He whispered. "Yeah. Why?" I replied hesitantly. "Well it deactivates all invisibility and speed powers so someone must have seen you and ambushed you." He said in an angry voice. The doors to the nurses office swung open and Wildfire came rushing in with an angry face. "Who did this to you?" He said through gritted teeth. "I don't know" I said slowly wondering who did it as well. "Ok" he replied than ran out the doors. A few seconds after he ran out I heard him yell "If you don't show me the video from this morning I WILL kill you." Jay and I started to laugh "He has some spunk doesn't he?" I said while giggling. "He is know for being defensive about his friends" Jay blurted out. My face went blank, I have friends? Soon I fell back asleep from exhaustion with the help of an injection the nurse gave me.
Later I woke up with Wildfire shaking me and yelling my name. "What what do you want Wildfire?" I screamed. "Look at this" he said while holding up a photo of Jonathan by the nearby tree I was hiding behind with me on the ground. "No?" I whispered under my breath. "Yes" he said sadly. "Also I beat the living life out of him." I couldn't believe my eyes the guy who I wanted to be friends with the guy who bought lunch for me and let me sit with him. "What were you guys doing yesterday with that map?" I asked. "If I tell you do you promise not to tell ANYONE?" He whispered. "I promise" I said. "We're planning to break out all of the Aleeks and we're building an army strong enough to stand up to the Murnahs keeping us hostage. It's called A Nation stands for Aleek Nation. Want to join?" He said in a faint voice. "Yes. You have no idea how happy you made me" I said happily "can you tell Jay for me?" "Of course. And I think he likes you" he said with a grin. Later he left me to flip those words around in my head and to process what I would do if I liked him back. Would I be Punished for loving somebody?
