It took six hours for the surgeons to fix Soobin up. The level of anxiety that Beomgyu felt was at a whole different level.

He was so nervous to see if Soobin was okay or not.

He looked through the news and saw a headline saying "DRUNK DRIVER HITS HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT RENDERING HIM UNCONSCIOUS AND INJURED."
Beomgyu read through it, hoping that Soobin wasn't dead.

After those excruciatingly long six hours, Beomgyu was finally able to see Soobin again.

"Here, you may enter." A doctor said. Beomgyu nodded, stepping in and sitting on a chair next to Soobin.

His forehead was bandaged up and he didn't look too good.

The younger boy was so tired and anxious that he fell asleep while watching over Soobin.

But he wasn't the only one watching him.

Yeonjun held onto Kai's soulless body as Taehyun was by the window, crying and looking at Soobin. He didn't know what to tell him. He couldn't just tell the poor boy that Kai was gone after he healed up.

It would kill him on the inside.

It would be the worst pain ever, to know that his love is gone. But at least he was inside Soobin's heart.

The two sadly looked away and began to flutter away with Kai.

Kai felt as if he was ascending.

He suddenly woke up in a field full of colours and light. Flowers blossomed and it smelled so sweet. It was very warm too.

Where was he?

He felt his face and realized that he had been crying.

Drying the tears off, Kai saw little children in all white playing around in the flowers.

What was odd was that the children had wings of a gracious white swan. They batted as they jumped up and down.

Kai looked down at himself to see that he wasn't so small anymore and that he hand no fairy wings. He was wearing white clothes too.

One of the winged children then came up to him.

"Hello sir!" She said in a warm and sweet tone. Kai didn't know how to react so he replied with a simple "Hi," and a bow.

"Follow me, someone wants to see you!" She grabbed his hand. Kai nodded and stood up, holding onto the little child's hand and getting directed to wherever she wanted to take him.

The world around him seemed to shift and warp into various different places such as a rose garden and beside the beach during a sunset. Kai smiled, looking around him.

"Wonderful, isn't it?" The child looked at Kai with a smile.

"Yes, it truly is.." Kai gave her a bright smile as they continued to walk.

The world then shifted back to what it was when Kai woke up. Colours, light, warmth, and flowers.

They approached a huge and golden gate where there was an officer guarding it.

"Hello, fine sir! Please let us in!" The child cutely said. The tall officer nodded, lowering the golden spear in his hands. The gate then slowly opened.

Kai could smell the scent of lavenders and jasmine coming from behind the gate.

The child then led him into a huge area with hundreds of thousands of people. They were like a normal village or town, but all of the people had wings.

Kai then thought to himself.

Maybe he was in heaven and that he truly did die to save Soobin. Maybe these were the deities angels. He looked around at the angels who all gave him a warm and welcoming smile.

Kai smiled back, trying to boost up his mood since he was heartbroken to leave Soobin behind.

The place was enchanting. Birds, flowers, animals, rivers, and so much more.

The little angel girl then walked up to this huge castle-like area. The small girl then led Kai through the entrance and into the castle.

It was made out of pure white Jade and quartz from the heavens.

Kai was amazed, but why was he here? Out of all the places in heaven that he could be sent to, why this castle?

Was he in trouble with the deities?

He didn't know.

Kai then looked up to see a 20 foot tall angel. Startled and intimidated, Kai took a slight step back but the little girl angel held his hand very tightly.

"Don't worry. He won't hurt you." She said. Kai then relaxed, nodding.

The giant angel then picked Kai up, holding him in his hand. The angel was a very handsome and beautiful man. He had dark chocolate coloured hair and puffy lips.

"Do not be afraid of me, fairy." The angel gently spoke. "I won't do any harm to you." He smiled.  Kai looked up at him and gulped, nodding.

"You are here because of one reason." The angel said. "The deities have seen how selfless you were and how you gave up your life for your true love." He smiled.

Memories of the operating room then flooded into Kai's mind. "B-but why am I here?" Kai asked.

"We decided that we will send you back as a human. So you could live and love the human you were with." The angel patted Kai's head.

He was in complete shock.

Him?

Being reincarnated as a human to go back to Soobin?

No way in a million years.

"Is.. is this real?" Kai asked as tears of happiness began pricking his eyes.

"Yes, little fairy. It is." The angel smiled.

"Thank you.. thank you!" Giant tears began pouring out of Kai's eyes.

"You'll have to wait here for a few weeks though, dear fairy." He said. "I'll wait if it means I can get back to Soobin." Kai said with determination.

"Very well. Our little Yuna there will take you to a house where you can wait. You'll be provided with all sorts of food and anything you'd like. You can also watch Soobin from up there too." The angel gave him a bright smile.

"Thank you!" Kai said. The tall angel nodded, setting kai down. The small little angel known as Yuna then grabbed Kai's hand and walked out of the palace, leading him to his temporary house.

"You'll stay here for maybe two to three weeks." Yuna gave him a warm smile.

"Thank you, little angel." Kai rubbed the head of the angel.

"One you get reincarnated, never tell anyone else about heaven or us, okay?" Yuna said. Kai looked at her and nodded.

Shortly after, Yuna gave Kai's hand a kiss before leaving.

It was a hard day for Kai, having to take in all of this info.

But at least he could be with Soobin once they were done.
