ZARA POV 

"Shit, Zara code red," Aliyah shouted and barged into my room and dragged me out of the house. I gripped my backpack that was on the chair and let her drag me because I know even if I will ask her to leave me but she won't. My eyebrows furrow in confusion and I thought about all of the code red situations but nothing significant entered my mind.

"What the fuck happened?" I asked totally annoyed with her actions. She dragged me out of the house, and we walked in steps with each other. I glance at my phone and saw Chase five notifications. I sighed and looked at Aliyah who had her eyebrows furrowed. I could see worry swirling in her eyes.

"This is not good news," She mumbled breathlessly.

"What is not good news?" I asked her but she ignored me and kept pacing. The worry in her eyes and her nervous pacing was freaking me out. I was normally a person who would feel anxiety creeping at regular events, so this is a different case because Aliyah is worried. Trust me when i say this Aliyah doesn't get worried for no reason. She looked at me and then dug out her phone from her back pocket and handed it over to me.

"I don't know what can be so bad," I muttered and snatched the phone from her hand. I wasn't angry at her but rather frustrated. I glanced at the shining screen secretly hoping that everything would turn out normal because last night had left a deep impact on me, and I did not want to deal with any other problem.

I caught a glimpse of the message on-screen which made my heartbeat with anxiety. A frown was etched on my eyebrow and my eyes were wide open. I looked at Aliyah who was mirroring the same expression as mine. I felt like I would collapse on the floor at any moment. Anxiety started to creep in my veins which made my inside to clench painfully. 

The truth that i have been hiding away from everyone will soon be disclosed. I cannot bear to lose my friends. I cannot tell anyone what is happening. Even though this is not the first secret that I have kept from my friends but i was sure that this secret, that I am hiding, will destroy everything between us. 

"I knew already that he was in town but going to the same college? It cannot be coincident." I said monotonously and she glared at me hard. 

"He is fuckin in town, and you did not bother to tell me about it? Wow." She barked. I took a deep breath and started to narrate last night's events. It was already quite late when he left, but the reason I didn't want to tell her about it was 

When he had left, it was already late and i didn't want to disturb Aliyah but i guess i cannot keep a secret anymore. "I just saw him in town the other day babe, otherwise I would have told you," I grumbled and she nodded her head. "And last night-" I started but she cut me off. 

"Don't tell me, please. I so want to murder your finance Zara because I absolutely despise that idiot." I nodded my head because I couldn't have agreed more. 

My mind travelled to Archie. Different thoughts clouded in my mind. Why did he come back? What does he even want from me? Is it about everything that happened in States or about-

I shook my head at these absurd thoughts because I know Archie would never want to come here just because of something so minor? He won't be coming back after what happened, I was absolutely certain. I never told him where I live so how? 

"Did he came just to piss you off or maybe he wants to help." Aliyah voiced out her thoughts but i shook my head. 

"No he won't, remember he doesn't want me," I replied and she glared me hard.

"You know it's not true. He likes you very much." She tried to convince me but i rolled my eyes at her. "No." I snapped.

"He is your f-" After pondering on my words she shook her head. She started again when I snapped at her. "No. Shut up, Aliyah. Don't say his name. Don't mention what relation he has with me. Just don't do it." I grumbled pathetically and started to walk away from her to the familiar pathway towards college.
