It's been almost three months since my country has implemented the stay at home order. Schools and universities are still not open physically but teaching and learning process is being done through the internet in which I'm getting used to it by now. Aside from stressing out about quizzes, tests and assignments(don't we all?), I've been trying to bake some cakes and bread for the past weeks.I've always read stories where the main characters suck at cooking or baking and always wondered how could someone suck so bad at something – I mean, you just have to follow the recipes and voila, everything would be perfect right? Turns out I'm dead wrong. It's probably just my streak of bad luck, but every time I tried to bake a bread, my bread never rose like how a bread should. My bread is more like a rock after it was baked and one time, it even became a bouncy ball. My brother accidentally dropped the bread and it bounced on the floor like its sole purpose is to be a ball and not to be eaten. It wasn't just bread that I suck at. Even chocolate cakes which other people have always made it look like the easiest thing to make, didn't become a chocolate cake when I made it. So yeah, now, I've retired from the world of baking to save my family from the horrors of having to eat my sorry excuse of a cake and bread and am just going to stick to one thing that I know how to do which is cheesecake. At least, there's one thing that I'm good at. So do you have stories about a failed cooking or baking experience?

Baking is always fun, isn't it? Or, well, maybe not always, but it can be! Do you have any stories of failed kitchen escapades?Tell us in the comments! And don't forget about our Wednesday QQ's! See you then!
