Was this it? Was Paxton really going to ask her out? Possibly. I mean, why else would he be here.

"W-what did you need to ask me?" Macey asked, leaning against the locker, attempting to look cool. Jeez.

"So, my swim coach wanted to ask you to come take pictures of the swim team for the school website. Your photography teacher said you were the best in his class." Paxton explained.

Shit.

Macey just stared at him, feeling unbelievably stupid in that moment.

"You down?" He asked.

"Uh, sure. I mean, I'm totally down. I am so down." Macey was loosing it.

"Cool. See you tomorrow." He said, walking off.

Macey let out a breath she didn't even know she was holding.

"That went well." She whispered to her self sarcastically.

. . .

Later that day, Jordan has some issues of his own.

"Hi mom." He greeted.

"Hey sweetie." She responded, continuing to scroll through the Old Navy website.

"What are you doing?" Jordan asked as he sat beside her on the couch.

"Old Navy is having a sale." She said excitedly.

"Yay!" Jordan said a little too girly.

His mom, Lauren, furrowed her eyebrows.

Jordan cleared his throat.

"I- I mean cool." He must of dropped his voice two notches.

"Okay." Lauren replied, turning back to her laptop.

Jordan sighed, feeling hopeless.

. . .

Meanwhile, Macey was ranting to Quinn in her room.

"And then he was all like 'you down?' And guess what happened?" At this point, Macey was freaking out about tomorrow afternoon.

"You rambled." Quinn stated.

"Damn right." Macey exclaimed.

"Calm down. This could be your chance for Paxton to finally notice you." Quinn suggested.

Macey stopped pacing, and quickly sat down next to Quinn on her bed.

"Really?" She asked.

"Yes Macey." Quinn was slightly annoyed by
How over dramatic Macey was being.

"You're right." Macey said, standing up.

"That's the spirit." Quinn exclaimed.

. . .

Now over at Noah's house, things weren't so great.

"So, did you starts try outs?" Noah's dad, Steven, asked.

"Uh, Yep." Noah lied.
