Macey stood in front of her mirror, pure shock written all over her face at her appearance.
Quinn had come over about three hours earlier to get ready for the party, and to say Quinn did wonders was an understatement.
"So what do you think?" Quinn asked, squeezing Macey's shoulders reassuringly.
"Dude, I went from sixteen to twenty two." Macey replied with a shocked smile. Macey was dressed in a short, black dress, with a v angle down her chest. Her hair was pulled into a bun, a few strands hanging down to frame her face. She wore a pair of black heels, making her an inch or two taller.
How was Quinn even allowed to buy that dress at sixteen?
"Paxton will definitely notice you in this." Quinn mentioned, smirking at her.
Macey whipped around, "You think so?"
"Definitely." Quinn stated.
Meanwhile, Quinn was dressed in a tighter fit, navy blue dress, her curly hair left down naturally.
Then, the doorbell rang.
. . .
Macey leaned against her kitchen counter, completely ignoring the couple making out against her fridge. Macey's face would scrunch up a bit every time they moaned a little.
She continually sipped her drink, bored out of her mind. Paxton, along with his friends, hadn't even showed up yet. Quinn was dancing with some boy from her French class, and Jordan was hiding out in the bathroom.
Quinn still hadn't received a call from that fact academy and it worried Macey immensely. What if they had threw this party for nothing?
"Let's go somewhere more private." The girl whispered to her boyfriend. He nodded with his lip between his teeth.
"Hey, uh, upstairs. The first door on your right." Macey chimed in, shooting them a tight smile. The room she was referring to happened to be her brother's room.
"Isn't that Luke's room?" Noah asked as he entered the kitchen just as the couple was exiting.
"Yes, indeed it is." Macey answered, earning a small laugh from Noah. He was dressed in a gray crewneck, along with a pair of jeans and white converse sneakers.
"Damn, M." Is all he said, then throwing his head back, finishing the rest of the cheep beer from his cup.
"So, you happy about Quinn getting into that fancy ass school?" Macey asked as they both looked over at the Rodriguez girl, who was dancing with a grin.
"Totally." Noah mumbled, staring at the curly haired girl with that kid from her French class. He seemed troubled.
"You good?" Macey questioned, looking up at him.
He turned, "Yep, I'm fine. Don't worry about me."
Just as Macey was about to question him further, cheering was heard from the front of the house. The two turned, seeing none other than Paxton Hall Yoshida and Trent Harrison entering, grinning cockily, completely soaking in the attention. Macey watched in awe.
Paxton wore a black t-shirt under a denim jacket, along with a pair of jeans and his black and white high top sneakers. Out of instinct, Macey began adjusting her dress.
