The Knight of Team RWBY (For Honor Lawbringer x Team RWBY)

First Day at Beacon

(Y/n) POV

     I hear an annoying noise qnd I open my eyes and look around. I see Weiss and Blake already getting up and head to the bathroom.

(Y/n): What is that infernal noise?

Weiss: Oh, right, it's an alarm. It helps me get up at the correct time every morning, so I can get ready for classes.

(Y/n): Oh. Is that what we're doing today?

Weiss: Yup, actually now that I think about it, you don't know what Aura is do you?

(Y/n): No. Why is it important?

Weiss: If you want to survive here, yes. Here, close your eyes.

     I do so, Weiss walks up to me and puts her left hand on my cheek. I then feel some sort of energy flow into me. I open my eyes as Weiss takes her hand away and she looks a little winded.

(Y/n): Are you alright?

Weiss: Yes, I used a bit of my Aura to activate yours, but the energy that protects you now is yours and yours alone. At least until you unlock your Semblance, but that's a lesson for another time.

(Y/n): Alright, so what's first?

Blake: Getting Yang and Ruby out of bed.

(Y/n): Hmm, I've got an idea. *walks to Yang's bed* I used to do this to new recruits all the time.

     I get to Yang's matress and then flip the matress, throwing Yang off the bed and tumbling to the floor.

Yang: Hey! Who did that?!

Ruby: *snorts* I'm awake!

Blake/Weiss: *laughs*

(Y/n): Good, you two are awake. Now let's get moving.

Yang: Why did you do that?!

Weiss: Because it's time to get ready for classes.

Yang: But it's friday, can't we take it easy with the new guy?

(Y/n): No, if you really want to be a warrior, you have to be well educated.

Yang: Well you didn't have to be rude.

     With that the girls all get ready while I put on my school uniform. We them head to our first class, we get there and the class was already pretty full. I take a seat in between Weiss and Ruby, the professor starts the class with a story about his younger years. His story was, alright, but I think this guy just likes to hear himself talk about himself. This evident of the fact that almost everyone tried to sneak in a nap while he talked.

     After Professor Port's class it was time for lunch, it was here that I met some more students.

Jaune: Hey Ruby.

Ruby: Hi Jaune. We want you guys to meet someone.

(Y/n): My name is (Y/n) (L/n), I will be staying here until further notice.

Jaune: I'm Jaune Arc, it will be nice to have another guy around.

Pyrrha: I am Pyrrha Nikos, it's really nice to meet you.

Ren: Lie Ren, a pleasure to meet you.

Nora: I'm Nora Valkyrie, and I like hammers and pancakes!

(Y/n): The honor is mine.

     With that lunch was had and I had eaten quite a lot, we are all laughing and having a good time when we stop and hear mock laughter. I look over and see four guys laughing at a girl with what appears to be rabbit ears. I lean over and whisper to Blake.

(Y/n): *whispering* Is that lady a faunus too?

Blake: *whispers* Yes, Velvet is being picked on because she's a faunus. It's atrocious if you ask me.

(Y/n): She didn't do anything wrong, is there anything we can do to help her?

Jaune: Cardin and his team are just a bunch of bullies, we've all tried but can't do much to persuade them to stop.

(Y/n): Well then, I'll be right back.

Yang: This ought to be good.

     I walk towards the laughing morons and grab the man called Cardin and force him to let go of the lady.

Cardin: Whoa, what's the big idea?!

(Y/n): *to Velvet* Ma'am please go sit with my friends and wait there.

Velvet: Ok, thank you.

      Cardin tries to throw a punch, but I catch his fist and start bend his wrist causing him to go to one knee in agony.

Cardin: What the hell man, we were just messing around. Where's the harm in that?!

(Y/n): You were harming a fellow warrior in training, we are all here to fight against the Grimm. If you can't get along with everyone else here, then you do not belong here.

Cardin: Oh get off your high horse there's no such thing as honor anymore.

(Y/n): Hmph, honor. What do you know about honor? You. Who has never known true fear. Learn what honor is before pretending you are a warrior. Know this.... Before you step onto that thin red path. Where no misstep is allowed. A path that only ends when your legs fail to support you and your heart stops beating. A path where sadness goes along with pain where glory is the color of blood. This narrow path goes only one way, a way covered with enemies and brothers and it will take you without any shame into the hands of death. For the name you were given and for your descendants. For honor. If you really think you have what it takes to be a warrior you will face me alone in combat class today.

Cardin: Yeah, yeah I'll take you on.

     I let go of his hand and he and his team run off and I head back to the team dorm. A few minutes later team RWBY rush in, worried.

Ruby: (Y/n) are you alright?!

Weiss: Yeah, you seemed to really tear into that guy.

(Y/n): He talks about being a warrior, but he doesn't even begin to understand what being a warrior means.

Yang: That may be true, but are you sure you want to do this?

(Y/n): I don't have a choice, honor demands that I teach him the meaning of being a warrior.

Blake: If you're really going through with this, you need to know how to activate your Aura on command, like this.

     Blake activates her Aura and a purples light flashes across her body, then she told me to try it. I do it but it took a lot more effort, Ruby then tells me to keep practicing until it becomes second nature. I get my armor on and grab my weapon and head to Combat class. Time to show these kids what I can do.

(A/N): A battle with Cardin on the first day of school. What else will the universe have in store for our young Knight? Only one way to find out.
