The Knight of Team RWBY (For Honor Lawbringer x Team RWBY)

Battle with Cardin and a Compromise

(Y/n) POV

Team RWBY and I head to Combat class and are given some instructions about tournament style duels and how Aura levels are gauged. Then Professor Goodwitch calls for volunteers and both Cardin and myself raise our hands. A few minutes later and I am staring at Cardin from across the arena. He tries to put on a confident facade, but I can see him sweating.

Glynda: Cardin vs (Y/n).

Ruby: Go (Y/n)!

Weiss: We believe in you, (Y/n)!

Glynda: Ready...

Yang: Yeah crack some skulls!

Glynda: Set...

Blake: Fight well!

Glynda: GO!

Cardin and I rush at eachother and our weapons clash. I easily push Cardin back and try an overhead strike, he blocks. He parries and I try again only for Cardin to dodge to my right a little and hit the back of my head with the pommel of his mace. This causes me to stumble back a little bit, I recover in time to see Cardin going into a overhead strike. I respond with using the bottom of my weapon and hit Cardin in the the stomach, I then come back around and hit him in the head with the hammer end of my poleaxe. This sends him flying across the arena, I use the time to recover a little. When Cardin is back on his feet, I charge him and use my Impaling charge to push Cardin back further. After the charge, Cardin hits me in the chest with his mace, but thankfully my Aura was able to absorb the damage. I lift my weapon up to do a overhead power attack. Cardin tries to block accordingly, but this is a trick and I just hit his nose with the bottom of my poleaxe. Cardin is put off balance I then do my overhead power attack.

(Y/n): Ad mortem, inimicus!

My axe smashes Cardin into the floor, destroying his Aura, and Glynda calls the match. I turn Cardin onto his back, he is still dazed, but I kneel down to him and reapeat something I said to him earlier.

(Y/n): Learn what honor truly is before pretending to be a warrior.

I stand up and leave the arena and Team RWBY gives me a congratulations and Ruby nearly tackles me into a hug.

Ruby: That. Was. Awesome!

Weiss: Indeed, a truly amazing display.

Yang: I knew he could do it.

Blake: You think things will be better for everyone from now on?

(Y/n): *looks at Cardin as he gets up* It's all up to him now.

We finish off my first day with history with Dr. Oobleck, then I went back to the combat arena to train myself and to use my Aura more efficiently.

Team RWBY POV

Meanwhile, back in their dorm room, team RWBY are having some difficulties of their own.

Yang: I think it's obvious, he would like me because we are both strong fighters.

Weiss: I disagree, as I think he would prefer a woman with more class.

Blake: I think he would like me because we both come from similar pasts and therefore would connect better.

Ruby: Okay, enough! This is getting us no where.

Weiss: What if each of us take him out on a date and let him decide?

Yang: I think we all know who he'd pick-

Blake: Yeah, me.

Ruby: Why not just share him?!

Everyone gets quiet and stare at Ruby.

Ruby: I know shut up you dolt. That was a stupid idea anyway.

Weiss: No, it's quite brilliant actually.

Blake: Yeah, I mean I don't want to fight any of you for a guy we all like.

Yang: Alright, it's settled then. We all tell him we really like him and we can share him.

Oh boy, (Y/n) has no idea what's in store for him. Better watch out, cause he's about to be hit by a love meteor.

Timeskip 3 months later

3rd Person POV

Over the past few months team RWBY have taken turns to spend time with (Y/n) and gain his affection. And while he does see them as really close friends, he's still missing something to really make him feel like he loves them. Yang has spent several training sessions with (Y/n) and both are getting really good, even Pyrrha has started sweating bullets in training duels during class. Blake took a calmer approach and loved to spend time reading with (Y/n) and occassionaly (Y/n) would play a lute he built and play some soft music.

(A/N): Best I could do sorry.

Anyways, Weiss would spend their days together either quietly studying or on walks around the city. Ruby, would have fun, going to bakeries, or slaughtering Grimm for "training" but really it was just fun for them. One day team RWBY are wandering around Vale, while (Y/n) was doing something in secret. When all of a sudden they are set upon by the White Fang, the girls try to fight back but are quickly overwhelmed and taken prisoner. Weiss decides to secretly drop her necklace (Y/n) had gotten her, just in case he came looking for them.

(A/N): Uh-oh, team RWBY kidnapped, will (Y/n) find them and save them from a cruel fate? Find out next time.
