Ygritte's POV

Yoshaka grab my hand and drag me back to our tavern. He seemed to be troubled by the stranger's presence that made me wonder about his significance in Yoshaka's past. His eyebrows furrowed all the way to the tavern. Wow, I'm impressed he can hold that for a long time? Sorry me and my crazy mind always find their own way to uplift the situation.

"What's with the rush, Yosh? Do you know him?" I asked him as we slowed down but he didn't answered me. I glared at him and crossed my arms.

He stopped in his tracks and I can see the doubt in his black ones. He must have been thinking if it was the right thing to tell me things about him, the things I'm guessing no one knew. But I've made up my mind, we can't go on, on a mission like this if we can't trust each other.

Without a word I grabbed his hand and pulled him in a cafe. We sat at the most remote part and he seemed to be satisfied that there wasn't a lot of people in the place. A waiter came and asked for our orders, Yoshaka ordered a wine and I asked for a smoothie. The waiter looked at us like we've grown ten heads but decided to let it go and went back to the bar to get our orders, well who wouldn't be? A wine and a smoothie? Good luck to us, I guess. I raised my eyebrow at Yoshaka who seemed to be a complete stranger in front of me. I never knew that some random stranger can make him mute for an hour, I should thank him for this.

The silence is suffocating me already and it's making claustrophobic that I can't stop myself ,"So what now? Are we going to be like this all day? You like sitting here all day?" I asked heatedly but he kept his head down like a child that has been scolded for being naughty.

He's pissing me off by this annoying silence of his and we both know we don't have all day to enjoy this little chitchat.

"Look Riritte," He sighs heavily and eyed me as he gulped his unmoving saliva from throat probably because he's nervous, "he's an old friend I tried to forget. He betrayed me that nearly got me killed. I don't want you to share the same fate I had been through." He said that caught me off guard.

"Uhuh, I'm getting quite interested in this 'ex-best friend" of yours." I said as I put emphasis on the ex-best friend part. He looks amused and that's when I knew Yoshaka the Stupid Dokkalfar is back.

"He's not that interesting as I am," he retorted. I rolled my eyes on him, seriously Ygritte you'd expect him to talk to you decently?

"No really, biggie, what's the big deal?" I asked I will not be able to sleep tonight if I don't have the answers to my questions.
