Edward's Shifter

The next day, Luna was dressed and ready. She talked to Bella and finally got won the battle of getting Bella to move. She grabbed her bag and made her way out the door to start of a new day. "See you later, Charlie."

"Have a good day, Luna." Charlie tells her as he got in his car and left for work. Luna got in her's and headed to school.

Luna was looking in the backseat for her favorite book, but so far nothing. "Where is it?" She asked herself as she tried to think of the last place she would have it. Edward noticed that Luna was preoccupied as she was searching for something. "Come on." She mumbled till she finally gave up. "Damn it."

Edward decided to walk over and see what was wrong. "Luna."

"Hmm." She replied as she grabbed her bag.

"Is there a problem?"

"I can't find my sketch pad." She tells him. Edward thought back of him checking in on her and noticed that the sketch pad was gone.

"Maybe you left it at you dad's house." Edward said making Luna groan as she now remembers. "It's there?"

"Yep." Luna replies. "Great and I wanted to finish that drawing up."

"Why don't you keep it there when you go to your father's and get a new one for Charlie's?"

"Okay, but will you come with me?" She asked making Edward smile and nod. Luna was happy that he agreed and followed him into the school to get things for their first class.

Class went by fast for Luna and all she thought about was hanging out with Edward. Right now it's lunch. Edward was walking with Gabriel when he saw Luna. "Bet your happy." Gabriel tells him.

"Gabe, yours will be here soon." He tells his brother. "Just give it time and she'll be here before you know it." Gabriel rolled his eyes, but nods none the less. "Luna!" Luna turned to see Edward and smiled. "Luna this is Gabriel."

"Hi." She says kindly.

"Hello." He replies.

"Let's go so today can end." Luna tells Edward making him nod and follow her. Gabriel shook his head as he followed the two, but something is telling him that when her dad finds out, it might end badly one way.

After school, Luna drove back to Charlie's with Edward behind her. She pulled in not knowing that her father was there. She got out when Edward walked over to her. "You can come in." Edward nodded as he followed his mate. "Once I put this in my room, we can go."

"I'll be here waiting." Edward tells her as Luna smiled and ran upstairs. The smell of dog reached Edward's nose as Billy rolled in to see his daughter.

"Stay away from my daughter."

"I can't." Edward tells him. Billy knew why and sighed.

"She's your mate?" Edward nodded making billy sigh. "If she carries the gene there is a possibility that she won't imprint on you."

"I know that." Edward said, but something was telling if she carried gene that she might actually imprint on him. Luna came down and saw the stare off between.

"What's going on?" Luna asked. Billy and Edward looked at her.

"Nothing." Billy tells her. Luna nodded and looked at Edward with a smile.

"Ready?"

"Of course."

Luna smiled as her and Edward arrived in his car at the store so she can find a sketch pad. "What were you and dad talking about?" She asked him.

"Nothing important." Edward tells her. Luna nodded, but didn't believe him. She grabbed his hand as the two felt sparks and smiled at one another before they walked in together. "Why do you usually sketch?"

"I usually sketch the beach or any thing nature, but I did find this beautiful spot that has a waterfall." Luna tells him. "I remember getting upset with Jacob for taking some of my money without asking."

"Wow." Edward said.

"Yeah and I ran off as dad told me to cool off because I was shaking in anger and I was ready to kill Jacob for taking without asking." Luna said as she grabbed the sketch pad.

"Do you still go there?" Edward asked.

"I do, but how can I not. The place is beautiful and peaceful." Luna tells him as she twirls around and looks at him. "I love the quietness of the place."

"Your going to have to show me." Edward tells her making Luna smile. As they walked to the front, Luna was telling him all sorts of places that she has ran too. Edward loved seeing her talk about these places because she looked happy as she spoke about it. The way she smiles, talks, and laughs is making Edward fall even harder for Luna Black. "Ready to go home."

"Actually, lets go see a movie." Luna suggested. Edward smiled and nodded as the two got in his car and drove towards the theaters. Edward knew it won't be long till he tells Luna what he is and what she means to him.
