Chapter 11

I open my eyes I'm lying on grass lifting my body up I look around it's the same garden from my dreams. "Where am I? Matt? Aunt Jen?" holding my head I try to remember what happened, all I can remember is that I was having a really bad headache and then everything went pitch black and now im just sitting here in this garden. Just then I hear something "I called you here," a soft gentle voice says. "Come" I stand up and walk to where the voice is coming from reaching a bridge I see her facing away from me. A woman, she's tall with long curly silver hair reaching down over her hips. She turns around with a warm smile she has a beautiful delicate face her eyes the same shade of blue as mine. She's wearing a beautiful long pink flowing dress she looks like a greek goddess. "Hello Alice" my eyes open wide in surprise "How do you know my name?" she giggles softly "That's because we're connected by fate, I am your past self I've been waiting for you for a long time now" past self?

"My name is Yuki I was also born and first shifted under the blue moon a long time ago" she suddenly seems very sad "I was one of many young wolves that stepped up and fought in The Great Uprising" she was the one from the story! "That means you have abilities?" she looks up at me and smiles "Yes I can control air" using her left hand she plucks a red rose petal and places it on her right palm. She then holds her right hand closer to me and I see the petal spin in a small whirlwind in the palm on her hand. So they did have abilities! "Does that mean I can control wind like you just did?" she walks closer to me "Yes, however, you were born with the ability to control the water which means you are able to control two elements." she grabs my hand "How? Why two?" she pauses before continuing "It seems that the past is wanting to repeat itself, all I know is that once you shift for the first time you'll be able to use my abilities as well"

I'm speechless at this revelation "What do you with repeating the past?.....wait you mean the vampires are planning to strike again?!" her eyes look down slightly showing her long lashes "Yes, this time something tells me they will have an unlikely ally giving them a great advantage...... I don't know who but I feel it has something to do with our past" her eyes filled with sadness "I have no memory of what happened After The Great Uprising, and fate has decided for me to be reborn, you are my present self. With this upcoming threat, I will lend you my power and strength so we can stop this coming war" she grabs my hand in between hers giving them a slight squeeze "Once you shift, I will help you learn how to control these new gifts you will have. So please help me figure out what happened after The Great Uprising. Something happened to the love of my life and our good friend I have to know what happened!.....so please help me" seeing her pleading tearful eyes I nod. I will definitely help her! "Don't worry well uncover the past and stop the coming war together."

"Thank you" she smiles brightly and soon a warm light envelops my body pulling me further and further away until she's gone "Wait! Don't go" opening my eyes I feel tears rolling down my cheeks my hand outstretched towards the night sky "Ali! Thank god!" I see Matt holding me in his arms "you really surprised us you just suddenly collapsed!" I wipe my tears away "Sorry, I'm fine now.....you can let me go" he suddenly realizes his tight grip "Sorry" he says letting me go. I slowly stand up "Here Ali, come sit over here" Jen places a chair "Thank you" we sit by the fire eating and telling stories to make the time go by. "We have five more minutes til 11" she glances at her watch "are you ready?" taking a deep breath I stand up "Ready as I'll ever be" Matt gets up as well "Alright then, well it's going to hurt like a bitch" Jen glares at him Matt just shrugs "What I'm not going to lie to her.......Ali Just remember to breathe and keep your thoughts clear were right by your side got it?" I smile at him I love that honest side of him "Yea thanks"
