I cried for some time holding my brother Jay. Once I settled, Jay called everyone inside the room. My parents were happy looking at the smile on my face. Swetha looked relieved seeing my smile.
Later Jay explained everyone about our past and he informed me about Trisha being sent to our grandma's town and her pursuing college there. Karan told us that both Dev and Meena too shifted to Trisha's college.
I got discharged and went home. Next day both Jay and I started to college in his car.
I was sitting beside him and he was driving the car. I didn't like the song being played and I changed it. Jay turned towards me and smiled. I remembered the first day of college, how he reacted when I changed the song the last time I was in his car. I smiled amused by thinking how things changed around.
"What are you thinking?"
"The last time you dropped me to college, you didn't even speak a single word to me. Remembering it brought a smile to my face because unlike then I can talk to you anytime and about anything."
His eyes were filled with so much affection and he simply nodded his head.
Soon we reached the college and we headed to our respective classes. I thought everyone would make fun of me with the video that Trisha posted but everyone were so quiet that I doubted myself whether it was all a dream. Within no time, it's already lunch and I went to cafeteria to join Jay and Karan.
"How's your day going?", Karan asked as soon as I sat at the table.
"Actually a lot better than I thought."
Both Jay and Karan looked at me questioningly.
"I know how things go in colleges and considering all that happened(the humiliation I went through at the hands of my sister), I thought I will be the joke of the day and easy pic for everyone." I just shrugged and looked at them.
"Well thanks to the English club members and the football team, it has been taken care." Jay spoke while standing to leave for his class.
I went to him and hugged him. "Thank you so much, brother. It feels so nice to have you to take care of me."
He held me close to him for a moment and then we departed to our classes.
In the evening, I went to the library and started doing my work. Karan came and sat beside me.
"So, this is your new schedule?"
"What?" I looked at him.
"Waiting for Jay in the library."
"My brother wouldn't want me to go to home by walk. So I have to stay."
"Well you can have your own car.", he simply shrugged.
"I don't want to miss the car rides with my brother."
"You are impossible."
"I know. But it's me." I gave him a smile and returned to my work.
Almost after an hour Jay came finishing his football practice. We both got into his car and went home.
I was about to enter my room while I heard Swetha squealing from Jay's room. I went to his room and found both of them laughing on his bed.
"What are you both doing?"
"I just did what I always do with your room" Swetha said in between her laughs.
I turned to look at Jay and the look on his was so much adorable. While we were staring at each other Swetha ran out of the room.
"Did she always rummage through your room to find out your hiding spots?"
"Yeah, that's one of the reasons why I tell her everything. Less things she doesn't know, lesser will be these raids."
His room really needed a cleaning. It was as if a hurricane went through.
Jay noticed me looking around his room. "I know I need to clean my room. But I'm really not so interested in it."
"Well I don't have anything to do tonight."
It's been an hour since we started cleaning Jay's room. We talked so much about his school memories and his atrocities. We finally completed cleaning. I let out a sigh and collapsed onto his bed.
"You owe me big for this."
"Okay. What do you want?"
"Take her to her favourite ice-cream shop and all your debts would be cleared", shouted Swetha from the door.
This devil knows me so well. "You need to take me twice."
"Done. I will take you. It's so nice having you around Anu."
I smiled and gave him a hug. Soon Swetha jumped on to us we hugged each other. The moment looked so nice. 'It would have better if Trisha was there too.'
**2 years later**
I was sitting beside Jay while he was driving his car. Today's Trisha's Graduation Ceremony. Both my parents' weren't interested in attending as they were still angry at her. I talked Jay into taking me there. It took a lot of persuasion but he gave in at last.
"Do we really need to go?" he asked for the hundredth time in our journey.
"Jay, she is still our sister and I loved her from my childhood. Please stop asking this again and again. She had suffered enough in the past two years. She too deserves this family's love."
He sighed and rest of our journey continued in utter silence. We reached her college and soon took seats at the back end of the auditorium.
Trisha was standing with Dev and Meena and looked quite happy. But her eyes had a different story. She was searching all over crowd. I understood she was searching for my parents. I felt bad for her.
Soon the Ceremony started and everyone sat in their designated seats. The anchor called upon one of the students to share their experience and Trisha went to speak.
"Good morning everyone. I came to this college in second year. I learnt so many things from here, especially from my friends. Meena, she took care of me as a sister. Always stood beside me, no matter what."
She paused for a moment and she left out a sob. "She made me realise what a bad sister I had been to my little sisters, especially to Anu. I never felt bad about all the things I did to her. But today when my parents didn't show up to my graduation ceremony I understood how much pain was caused to them due to my actions. I wonder how much worse my sister got hurt. I humiliated her in the worst way possible and made her college life a living hell. I know I don't deserve her forgiveness but I really do wish she would give me one chance to make everything right."
With that she broke and started crying uncontrollably. I couldn't see her crying like that and ran to the stage. The moment our eyes met, I saw her eyes filled with agony. I hugged her and cried with her consoling her. Soon Jay came and consoled both of us.
After the ceremony we three drove back to our home. Jay drove the car while we both sisters took the back seat. Meanwhile Jay informed my parents about Trisha and they were happy for us.
As soon as we entered our home Swetha came running onto us. We four hugged each other and I loved the group hug so much.
'Finally I have all my siblings with me. The brother and sister whom I missed from my childhood are now with me.'
