Christmas Morning

Luke's *POV*

We sat on the couch, waiting for Jai and Quinn to get up.

"Why are we up so earwy?" I heard Quinn yawn loudly and snuggled up in Jai's neck.

"It's Christmas." Jai chuckled and sat on the couch, he stood Quinn up on the floor between his legs.

"What's Christmas Nonna?" She walked over to Mum and climbed into her lap.

"Well, Christmas is the day Jesus was born."

"Where is he? I wanna wish him a happy birthday!" She started looking around.

"He's not here. He's...somewhere else." Jai nodded with Beau, not wanting to tell the whole story. She might not understand everything, she's only 4!

"Oh, well why a twee and boxes under it?"

"Those are for everyone." I started to walk over to the tree.

"It's the season for giving." Nonna kissed Quinn and let her go.

"Give this to Uncle Beau." I smiled and showed her a big box.

She pushed it over to Beau, and sat by him. "What is it?"

"I don't know, that's the cool part." Beau unwrapped it and smiled. "A new tripod. Thank you..." He looked for the tag and read off 'Mum'.

"You're welcome, Beau." She smiled and looked at me.

"Start handing them out you two." She chuckled at Quinn hurrying to help.

"You two are so cute." Mum smiled and at me holding Quinn who read off names.

"NONNA!!" She wiggled out of my grasp and ran to her. "This is yours." She smiled.

"Thank you, and it's from you!"

"It is?"

"Daddy wrote your name though."

"How rude." She huffed, then giggled.

"Thank you." Mum smiled and admired her necklace.

"You're welcome." Quinn smiled and walked over to me.

"Jai.." I handed him a box, and he opened it to see a new camera.

"Thank you Luke, AND Quinnie."

"Your wekcome Twinny." Quinn smiled, and handed me a gift.

"Well thank you." I opened it to see a homemade snowman from Quinn. "It's beautiful."

"I made it with Nonna." She smiled and gave everyone a snowman.

"This one's also for you." She handed me another box, and it was full of hair product..for curly haired people.

"Thank you, and these are yours." I handed her three little boxes.

"What are they?" She asked, then sat down by Jai on the floor.

"Open them, and see." Jai chuckled at her shaking the boxes.

"It moves!!" She squealed and tore little pieces off. "Barbie house stuff!!" She got excited and read who got her the present.

"Thank you Uncle Twinny." Quinn hugged his torso, then read off who got her the next one.

"Nonna!" She smiled, then opened the slightly bigger box to see if full to the rim with Barbie clothes. "Thank you Nonna!" She hugged her, then returned to her spot, now on Jai's right thigh. He started bouncing her gently and the giggles began. 

"Barbies!! Thank you Uncle Bew."

"It's Beau."

"It's Bew until I get a hug."

"There's your hug." Beau gave her a big hug and slobbery kiss on the cheek.

"EWW!! Boy cooties. Save me Nonna!" 

"I'm gonna get you!" Jai chased her around and finally caught her. "Want your big present from daddy?"

"Yes please!"

"Here.." I scooted a box over to her.

"Thank you...." Then Jai lifted it up.

"A dolly house?! Thank you!" She smiled so big, 

"You guys want breakfast?" Mum smiled,

"Yes pleASE!!" Quinn started laughing loudly because Jai started tickling her.

"Gimme a kiss and I'll stop." Jai pucker up, and she gave him a quick kiss.

"Food!" She ran after mum and helped with everything.

"Wanna spend the whole day with Uncle Twinny?" I asked her when I walked into the kitchen.

"Yeah!" Then she ran over to Jai, and they began playing Barbies.
