"Quinn, you have school today baby girl."

"Ehhhh." She hid under the covers.

"Cmon, Uncle Beau Beau is going to pick you up afterwards, and you have recesses, and you get to color."

"But will you be there?"

"No, daddy has to go to work. He has an interview today."

"Then I'm not going!"

"Quinnie...." I lifted the blanket up, "do you want to explain to Nonna why you're not going to school?"

"No..."

"She really wants to see your first day outfit."

"Hmm, ok I'll go. Not for any of you people, but for Nonna."

"That's my little girl, get ready and I'll have to take a picture for Nonna."

I shut the door and went downstairs to make her a lunch and then put her breakfast on a plate.

"Daddy?" I turned around to see Quinn in her white sweater and caramel colored jeans, with her fuzzy sneakers on.

"Yes?"

"Can you put my bow in my hair?" She had put her hair in a ponytail, but needed the bow to top it off.

"Wallah." I smiled as she sat down at the table. "I need you to take your picture."

"Ok." She sighed and went over by the door as I took pictures.

"You can sit now." I chuckled at the girl posing in the corner.

"Daddy, do you ever think I could be a model?"

"You're beyond beautiful, so why not?"

"Or I could be a beautician."

"How did you know those things?"

"Mariam and I talked about hair and outfits while she curled my hair."

"Uh huh, and what do you want to be when you grow up."

"Fashion designer, model and beautician! They all seem fun."

"All because they seem fun doesn't mean they are." I sat her pancakes down in front of her and began working on her lunch.

"I know, but have you ever wondered what it would be like to have three things going on in your life."

"I have about ten." I gave her a kiss and put her lunch in her backpack. "Let's go." I picked her up and carried her and her backpack.

"Can I say goodbye to my Uncles?"

"They have a long day, I'll tell her you love them and you were going to say goodbye."

"Ok, how long will you stay at school with me?"

"I'll stay until you get settled in, then I have to get back and go that interview with the boys."

"Ok."

When we pulled up to her school, she sighed and got out.

"I hope you make friends." I gave her a kiss before we walked into the building.

"Hi, my name's Luke Brooks and I called yesterday about registering my daughter, Quinn for school."

"Oh, here. I'll show you where her classroom is." The secretary walked us down a hallway and to the left. Two doors down on the right was her classroom. "Her teacher's name is Mrs. Woods."

"Thank you." I held her hand and walked into the room with her.

"Ok class, this is our new student, Quinn, please say hi to her."

"Hi Quinn."

"And she'll be in this class from now on. Would you like to tell the class about yourself?" Mrs. Woods asked Quinn.

"Umm, I'm 5, I like fashion and drawing and my daddy is my hero."

"That's sweet." The teacher smiled at me. "Well, here's your seat next to Marie. You should fit in just fine." Quinn shyly sat next to Marie, and got her colors out.

"I gotta go, I love you." I gave her a kiss and slowly walked out.

"Hardest thing?" The secretary asked.

"I feel terrible." I shook my head and walked out to my car to drive home and get the boys up for today.
