"Are you okay?"

Beaumont asked, I just looked at him and nodded before roaming my look around.

The place looks so elegant, a chandelier that can make the place more bright and eye catching. There's many white round table and chairs. The guests right now looks so rich, base on their gowns, suits and their posture.

But this elegant place didn't make me amuse, masyadong na u-ukupado ng isip ko ang narinig ko kanina.

Beaumont is the son of the owner...the owner of the most famous and the trusting construction company in the country. His father is the owner of the Hollis Inc, where the good engineers was.

"Beaumont," the man greeted to Beaumont. Shaking their hands, the man turn his gaze at me. I just smile awkwardly.

Beaumont is still holding my hand tightly, maybe he noticed that I'm so nervous right now.

"Who is she?" the man asked and smiled at me. I glanced at Beaumont, he's glaring at the man.

Bigla nalang akong hinila ni Beaumont kahit hindi pa niya nasagot ang tanong ng lalaking iyon. I just look at him shock, nakakabastos 'yon. Pwede namang sagutin lang niya na kaibigan niya lang ako.

Oh, ouch.

Many businessman's and business woman with their expensive suit and gowns greeted Beaumont, well what can I expect? He's the son of the owner.

Lahat nang bumabati kay Beaumont ay titingin talaga sa'kin, pero hindi man lang nagtanong sa pangalan ko.

Buti nalang.

Hawak pa rin ni Beaumont ang kamay ko hanggang sa tumigil kami sa isang round table na may apat na upuan. Merong isang babae na may edad na ang nakaupo, kamukha siya ni Beaumont! Napabaling ako kay Beaumont pero nakatingin na din siya sa harapan.

"Mom," Beaumont called.

I look back infront again, it's his mom! His mom looks strict, parang kakain ng tao kung makatingin. She's wearing a red fitted gown while sitting in the chair, holding her a glass of wine.

His mother looks so elegant with her red mermaid dress, her hair is on a bun, many strands of her hair is falling in the sides of her face--- for fashion? The earrings and the necklace she wears is a diamond. Her thick and formed eyebrows mets, she is looking at us.

"Beaumont, sit down." she pointed the chair beside her and look at me from head to toe.

Iginiya kaagad ako Beaumont para makaupo, she's beside of his mom at nasa tabi niya naman ako.

"Mom, she's Ariadne Estelle Seponze." napatingin kaagad ako kay Beaumont na ngayon ay nakatingin na pala sa'kin. I just smiled.

"H-hello po," I  warmly greeted his mother, his mother just smiled at me and drink her glass of wine, didn't mind to say something.

Napahiya ako dun ha.

Alam ko na kung saan nagmana si Beaumont. Tumingin na lang ako kay Beaumont ulit, he just gave me a nod.

"Oh, you're here." napabaling ako sa harapan at nakita ko ang isang lalaki na kamukhang-kamukha ni Beaumont pero mas maskulado ang katawan nito. Parang masiyahin naman. He's wearing a black suit and a white poloshirt in the inner with his black neck tie.
