Mahir's pov

Wondering who was it I went and opened the door. To my surprise there she was standing, My love, My anu.
"You were busy,then..." I was left without words.
"Mahir I refused to go to the function as you called me. You haven't called me to somewhere till day. So If I didn't come it will be wrong" she said.
Anu was looking so beautiful that day.

(Unlike Bela anu was a traditional girl so she was used to wear kurta only)
I invited her inside.
''Wheres your dad and mom"?
She asked looking for others
"Actually all went to a relatives house."
"Okay so you're afraid to sit alone. So you called. No ghost will catch you" she teased me.

I tried to catch her but she ran soon she was running all inside my house. Atlast I caught her and we fell down. I was on top of her. We were eyelocked. We were looking into each other's eyes without even blinking. She snapped. I came back to my senses.

''Anu I want to talk to you" I said in a serious tone.
"What happened mahir. Why're you serious. Anything wrong?" She was anxious.
"Nothing like that. I don't know how to tell you. We are best friends I hope this won't affect our friendship. I LOVE YOU❤" I mustered all my courage.
She stood there stunned hearing that looking plain on to me. I don't know what will be her reaction. Next moment she hugged me tightly. Tearing started rolling down from her eyes.

"Mahir, I have been trying to tell you that since days. But I didn't had the courage. I thought you can't see me like that. Now my dream came true. I'm the happiest person on this earth. I love you too mahir. I love you too."

I cupped her face and pecked her lips. Then kissed on her forehead and hugged her. That day was the most memorable and precious day on our life. By each day our love was increasing. Atlast after graduation our course got completed. One day I told her.
"Anu, no we should take our next step.''
"What mahir I can't understand?"
"We should think of our marriage. Otherwise your and my parents will think of other proposals. So we should confess everything to them"

So we atlast decided to confess everything to our parents and hoped for our wedding. As soon as I reached home I told mom, "Ma,Papa I want to tell you something important."
"We can talk about all. But first take shower and change dress" said papa
I changed my dress and was about to tell my parents everything but suddenly anu phoned me.

"Hello"
"Hello mahir, have you told your parents"
"No anu why you sound sad. What happened?"
"Mahir, I told dad everything. He didn't agreed. He arranged another marriage for me with a minister's son. Now he is telling that if I continue my relationship with you then he will kill you and your family."

I was shocked hearing all those things. Her father Ram Narayan,the current home  minister earlier he was a MLA but he had power as his father Narayan was the chief minister those days and they were extremely wealthy too. They arranged anu's marriage with a minister's son only for power and wealth. As there were such problems I decided not to tell my parents everything
