Chapter Twenty Four

Slowly I opened my eyes to be met with a white ceiling. I turned my head and saw blonde hair laying down on the side of the bed. I slightly smiled to myself. I turned the other way. There was a wooden door. Where an I. I questioned. I turned back to bakugo. Bakugo. I whispered. Nothing. I tried again. Psst! Bakugo. I said a little louder. He groaned. He lifted his head with half lidded eyes. He looked at me and shot up. Oh gods you're alright! He yelled. Yup, but please keep it down. I'll go get the doctor. As he said that he walked to the door and left. I tried to push myself up but fell back dow at the pain in my shoulder. What the hell! What happened? I looked to my left and saw bandages covering my shoulder. Memories slowly started coming back. We went on a mission, we defeated demons, kiri got attacked. KIRI GOT ATTACKED! I lifted myself back up again with my right arm and ran to the door. While running through the building I thought even more. Kiri got attacked, I killed the demon, demon attacked again, I blacked out. Everything came flooding back now. Where is kirishima?! Where are my demons?! Oh no, I can't feel their presence! They aren't fused! Where is everyone?! I ran and ran. I couldn't see anyone familiar. There were a few people that tried to stop me and calm me down but I ignored it. I looked around frantically and didn't notice the person turning the corner. I crashed into them and fell to the floor. In shock I started tearing up. Ahh, (f/N)! Your awake! A familiar voice yelldd. I looked up and two red eyes stared back. Kirishima? I asked tears running down my face. The one and only! He grinned. I got up and hugged him. He stiffed a bit before he hugged back. You're alright! I was so scared! What happened? I asked as I cried even more. Well after you fainted your wolf went on a rampage and de-headed the bear. It got injured though. Your other demons made sure you were alive and wouldn't leave you alone. They really do care about you don't they? He asked. My heart fluttered. It nice to hear that. Wait! River got injured! Where is he? I demanded to know. Huh? You didn't see him al your demons slept in your room. I dead panned. I must have mist them in my hurry. I chuckled. Hehe, oops. Kirishima bursted out laughing. KIRISHIMA! An angry voice sounded. Have you seen (f/N), I can't find her. He sounded worried. I poked my head around kiri's body and looked at the worried blonde. His eyes trailed down to me and he got an irritated look. What are you doing you're supposed to be resting. Oops. I said. Oops? Is that all! He yelled. You had me worried and all you say is "oops"! As soon as the words left his mouth he gained a red tint on his cheeks. You care about me? I asked fluttering my eyelids innocently. A vein popped out on his forehead. No I don't! He yelled. He grabbed my arm and dragged me to my room. Lucky me he didn't grab my left arm. The tiniest movement could make me cry.

I was sitting in bed with Cora on my lap. I had fused my wolf so he would heal faster and my dragon was playing with kiri. Hey kiri, you're a dragon does that mean you can communicate with him. I asked. He looked up at me. Well if I were in dragon form, then yes probably. But since dragon tongue mostly exists out of body language it's impossible in human form. He added. Okay, so you yourself can't talk to him but can you understand him? I asked. He looked at the tiny dragon and back at me. Yeah a little bit. He said. Cool! I chimed. So what is he saying now. Nothing much but he has a happy aura. Kirishima said. He is still quite young he still needs to learn how to communicate. He said. I nodded my head. Yes of course.

The doctor walked out of the room after he had done my last check up. It had been two weeks since I had woken up. I was allowed to leave today but I still needed to rest the muscles in my left shoulder. It was quite hard living with only one arm. I had asked for kirishima to help me dress and stuff but after 5 minutes he got a bleeding nose and had to be replaced. After that bakugo helped me. That caused for some interesting moments. Like when I had just put on my underwear and asked Jim to help with my shirt. He got all red and yelled at me for no reason. I'm not gonna lie, it was hella awkward! But it was the only way. I got my stuff fused my demons and left.

I finally arrived at the inn. The doctors house was at the whole other side of the village. I was still surprised that there was even a doctor in the small town. I went to my room and got the rest of my stuff. The others should be waiting for me at the church. We had decided it was time to continue traveling. I mean. I had lived here for a few months by now and the boy had been staying here for over 2 weeks. It was time for something new.

I hot down stairs to be greeted by stuyu's mom. Oh hi miss. I said. Where's stu? I asked. Hi dear. She said. Stuyu will be accompanie some kids on their travels. She said. I'm sorry dear, she had loved to say goodbye but really had to go. She looked at me with sad eyes. I smiled at her. That is alright miss. it's nice to hear she decided to go and adventure. I can't blame her it is quite fun. The mother giggled. Yes I suppose so. I waved goodbye and left the inn. The stay had been already payed for so I didn't need to worry.

I arrived at the field behind the church. I had been here so many times by now it felt as if I didn't know anything else. I walked over to the tiny river and saw kiri and bakugo sitting down. At the sound of my arrival they both turned their heads. Kiri smiled widely at me while bakugo grinned. Ready? The blonde asked. Ready! I said happy. With those words we crossed the water and left the tiny village behind us. It felt like old times. Good times. Times I had missed!
