Chapter Twenty Seven

I was dressed in my new shirt with wool on the inside, my long, baggy pants made out of deer skin. I was also wearing a jacket with fur around the neck and wool on the inside. Then I had my new boots with fur. I was wearing some woolen socks. And I had a pair of leather gloves with, again, fur on the inside. The hood of my jacket also had fur on it and was nice and warm. I put my other clothes in my bag and went back to camp. Of course I still had the bandages underneath everything but only those on my face were visible.

So how do I look? I asked. Both guys looked up from the fire towards me. Kirishima smiled and bakugo nodded. You look good! The redhead said. I smiled back. Thanks. I went to sit down at the fire and took of my gloves. I summoned my demons and relaxed. Looking up at the stars I realized something. Bakugo? He grumbled for me to continue. If we go to your home what will your parents say about your appearance? It was silent for a while. Well at first they would probably be worried then mad at me for letting my gaurd down. I nodded. I got a little sad. So that's how parents are. I whispered but a certain redhead heard. He didn't push it though. So are we gonna enter the forest tomorrow? Yup. We are going to level up. We need to get stronger. I nodded again still looking at the stars. Good in that case I'm going to get some rest. I moved away from the fire to join my wolf. After a few minutes I was sound asleep.

Kiri's pov

The (h/c) haired girl went to sleep and not long after she was gone. I turned to bakugo. Dude, did you hear that? The blonde looked up at me. Hear what? After you explained about your parents she said something about "how parents are". Do u ou think she has trouble with her parents? I asked concerend. He looked at the sleeping girl. Maybe, it's a possibility. Should we ask about it? I asked. No, if she wants to tell us she will. I nodded. Yeah, you're probably right. I looked at the girl before saying. I'm gonna head to bed as well, goodnight bro. He nodded and I went to my sleeping bag.

Your pov

It was morning I had last watch and felt pretty tired. I went to he forest to get some food

I came back with a wild goose to see the boys still sound asleep. After preparing the food and the last of the bread I woke them up. It didn't take long to get bakugo awake. He always was a light sleeper. Kirishima on the other hand. With him you have to get creative. I took some of the meat and held it in front of his nose, I slightly blew on it. Not even a second later the eyes of a hungry dragon shot open. The meat was snatched from my hand and after a few bites it was gone. Works every time. I thought. I walked back to the tiny fire and took my own piece. I sat beside bakugo while kirishima came to look for any left overs. I took a last bite of my food and walked over to the sad boy. Here you can have mine. I said. His eyes lit up as he looked at me. Really?! I nodded and smiled. He took the bit of meat and shrugged it down. I turned towards my backpack and started packing. I took of my jacket and put it in it. At night it's cold but when day it's warm enough. I looked around and saw my wolf and dragon sleeping again. They had caught their on food while hunting so I'd didn't worry to much. I turned around and saw Cora eating the raw leftovers from the goose. Hungry demon! I thought.

We had been walking for a while now. The deeper we go the colder it got. My smaller demons were flying through the trees while my wolf was running around like a puppy. It was really pretty here. The massive trees, the ground that is covered in moss and flowers. The random bushes with tasty looking berries. I was looking around when some twig cracking. I looked around but didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I ignored it but stayed alert. As I walked around my wolf started growling. I turned to him. What's wrong? I asked. He turned his head towards a bush and walked over to it. Before he could reach it a tiny dart shot out of it. My wolf jumped in the bush dragging out a man. He dropped him in front of me. The man had black hair with brown eyes. What are you doing here? Are you stalking us? I asked in a threatening voice. I was not happy this dude just shot my wolf. He looked up with fear in his eyes. He didn't look much older than twenty or something. I, I was looking for food and saw you. I was just curious. I didn't mean any harm, I swear! I looked at him. I closed my eyes and nodded. I walked over to my wolf who was now sitting down. I took the tiny arrow and took a close look at it. There wasn't any blood and my wolf didn't look to be in pain. What do you use these for? I asked turning back to the man. He was sitting up with bakugo glaring him down. He looked at me with a nervous smile. Normally I hunt for goose or rabbit. He asked. I nodded these aren't big enough to hurt a bigger animal. Are they poisoned? He shook his head. No that's to expensive. Good, I said, because if you harmed my wolf you'd be dead. I glared at him and he gulped loudly. A weight pressed on my shoulder and black feathers appeared in my vision. I turned to bakugo. Watch out bakugo, you might kill him with that glare of yours. He laughed a bit. Ha, yeah. He walked away. The dude stood up and thanked me. So you're hunting? Yes. I need food for my family. It's been hard to keep a full stomach lately. I raised an eyebrow. How come? Huh? Oh, there is this huge monster living in the deeper part of the forest that scares away our food. We have already sent our strongest warriors. But they all came back bloody and empty handed. This caught my attention. A monster? I grinned. Hey guys you up for a challenge? I yelled to the boys that were walking up ahead. The turned around grinning. Hell yeah. Bakugo yelled. I turned to the dude that had gotten a shocked expression. Go hunting buddy, we'll go take a look at this monster. He nodded and went his way. I caught up to the boys who were already getting pumped. Hehe, let's go.
