Lamiya stilled, her eyes remained fixed on Dan as he watched her curiously, waiting for her answer. She didn't know how to answer that question. She was just speechless. Maybe if she had the time to think of an answer, she wouldn't look at Dan stupidly. Her mouth opened and then closed again meanwhile Dan leaned back and placed his cheek on his fist while his elbow rested on the arm of the couch. Lamiya studied his stance, he was staring at her blankly and she had never seen Dan's face blank. She swallowed and leaned back.

"What?" She ran a hand over her wet hair and licked her lips, "I don't get it." Knowing that she was messing up, she just shut up.

"Why are you so nervous?" His forehead wrinkled, a first expression in last few minutes.

"I am not nervous I am surprised." She was nervous but not because of the reason Dan was thinking. She had never talked about Zack since he died, she went to therapy but when that didn't help, she just stopped visiting. Wais was there for her and slowly she healed, they both healed unlike many people who could never get over someone. But deep down she knew that she didn't forgive Zack for what he did and she could never forgive herself for not being there. She never talked about it, never thought about it and somehow it felt like the problem didn't exist.

And now after more than seven years someone expected her to take his name out loud and talk about him, it felt very strange. She moved her gaze away from Dan and silently sighed in relief when there was a knock on the glass door. She felt uncomfortable when a man walked in and told Dan that they should leave before the guests start leaving. He left shortly after and Dan stared at Lamiya for a while before standing.

"Come on, let's go." Lamiya nodded and followed him. She felt like a thousand cameras were pointed at her without her scarf whereas there were only two guards accompanying them and helping them get off. Dan was texting on his phone as they waited for the valet to bring his car. Lamiya didn't know where they were going or whether she should go with him but she didn't question him because he was all she had to get out of there as soon as possible. She had not brought her phone so she had to use his to inform her father. The car arrived and Dan tipped the boy before they sat in it.

Lamiya was of course ready for him to ask more questions when they were on the road but he was very silent and that made her nervous so she decided to start the conversation herself.

"Did you tell your sister about us leaving?" Lamiya turned her head and asked.

"Yeah, I sent a message." He nodded.

"Can I have your phone? I need to tell my father." He nodded and raised his brows towards the phone holder. She grabbed the device and turned it on. It was as expected password protected so she asked him, "what's the password?" He told her the five digit number which she entered to unlock the phone. "Can I check your gallery?' She muttered jokingly as she opened the messenger and started typing a text.

"Why? Are you afraid I have pictured of nude girls in my phone?"

"No I am worried if you have nude pictures of men." He scoffed.

"Ha Ha funny." She was sure he rolled his eyes but wasn't looking at him. Lamiya sent her father a text message telling him that she was going home with Dan because of some issues and would inform him later about when she would return. After that she locked his phone and placed it on the phone holder.

"You didn't answer my question." Mia's eyes went towards his hand and in three of his fingers he wore rings in both hands. Always been fascinated by his rings, she almost grabbed his hands but his question made her look at him.

"Hm?" She blinked, distracted, Oh God she was falling in love with his hands. Lamiya clenched her fists.

"Zack. You screamed his name. Who is he?" He looked at her momentarily.
