May 12, 1979

Adjusting to life with two children wasn't easy but they were a year in and they were doing it. Stevie was also trying to keep on top of all of her pack work as well. She was also watching closely on the attacks in Florida. She and Lindsey had discussed the idea of Dr. Harris' nephew's pack and they agreed that they could amend the Asylum law but they nor Dr. Harris had heard anything about Tom's Pack so she was just going about her life.

Saturday's and Sunday's Stevie and Lindsey don't work. They spend the day with their kids so after getting them ready for the day they go make breakfast as a family and then the six-year-old sets the table and they eat breakfast in peace before they decide what to do. Maybe they go into town, or they go to the park, or they swim in the pack pool, maybe they hike out to Eli's grave and have a picnic it just depends on the day.

Stevie had dressed one-year-old Ginger in what Stevie calls the Cherry Blossom dress. It's red with ruffly sleeves and neck. Scattered throughout the dress are little white flowers with black leaves...hence the Cherry Blossom dress. In her blonde straight hair was a red bow creating the Pebbles hairstyle and she was otherwise barefoot sitting contentedly on her mother's hip. Ella had come down the stairs that morning wearing a grey teeshirt and a denim skirt. Stevie was impressed, to say the least, because normally young children wear some outlandishly styled clothing. Stevie did her hair in little pigtails and they were making Strawberry pancakes when the doorbell rang.

"I've got it Steph if you want to go get that," Lindsey tells her kissing her temple and then kissing Ginger's head.

She nods and she throws her towel on the counter and goes to the front door.

"Dr. Harris?" She questions opening the door wide.

"I hope we're not interrupting anything." Dr. Harris smiles.

"No, not at all. Good Morning Carol Ann...Don...Will." She smiles.

"Stevie this is my cousin Tom Petty. Tom Petty this is...well it's complicated...she's the Alpha but she's called herself Luna since day one, and her mate takes the title of Alpha. Tom's the Alpha of the Full Moon pack in Gainesville." Carol tells her.

"Oh Yes...Dr. Harris was telling me about you. How's the situation in Florida?" Stevie questions.

"Not good. That's why we're here." Tom sighs.

"Oh my goodness well...we're just about to sit down and eat some breakfast. I made Strawberry Pancakes would you like to join me. I'm sure William and Ginger would LOVE to keep each other company." Stevie smiles at Ginger who's reaching out to William in Carol's arms.

"Ruth made French Toast...weighing my options, I'd rather have your Strawberry pancakes," Don smirks.

"It has been a while." She laughs.

"About seven years yeah." He nods.

"I'm lost." Tom states.

"Long Story short...Carol's mate was sleeping with Stevie and Stevie's mate was sleeping with Carol." Dr. Harris states as they make their way into the house.

"Wow..." Tom sighs.

"Come on, Lindsey's in the kitchen. He can only keep Ella occupied for so long and if you don't do the syrup for her the kitchen becomes a sticky nightmare and I have to go to the store and buy more syrup." Stevie explains.

"So how many kids do you have?" Tom questions.

"Well...we have three but Eli was...he was stillborn." Stevie sighs.

"Oh, I'm so sorry." Tom sighs.

"It's okay, we go and see him as often as we can." Stevie smiles

"MOMMA! BREAKFAST!" Ella calls from the kitchen.

"I'M COMING PUMPKIN, HEY I BROUGHT SOME GUESTS TOO!" Stevie replies.

"Who'd you...Carol Hey!" Lindsey comes into the living room holding Ella's hand.

"Hey. We're joining you for Breakfast." Carol grins wrapping her arms around Lindsey's neck.

"I see that." Lindsey chuckles returning the hug with his free arm.

"Lindsey this is my cousin Tom from Florida." Carol pulls away.

"Yes, let's talk about this." He states motioning to the dining room table.

Ella had gone to play and Lindsey was bouncing Ginger on his lap and she was making faces to William who was standing on Carol's lap.

"How many of your pack members made it out here?" Stevie questions.

"Thirty of us. We were a pack of 150 only 50 of us made it out." He sniffles scrubbing his hands over his face.

"Oh, Tom...I'm so sorry. Where's the other twenty?" Stevie reaches over and grabs his wrist.

"They ended up deciding to go stay with some extended family in different packs. At least we're still a glorified pack though. We have the right numbers we just don't know what to do with ourselves." Tom sighs.

"Well, I don't see a problem if you guys stay with us until you get back on your feet," Stevie assures them.

"Thank you, Stevie, I really appreciate it." Tom looks at her.

"Well I'm the nice Alpha...or at least I try to be." Stevie shrugs her shoulders taking her youngest pup into her arms and cradling her close. Ginger reaches out for the Strawberry teething wafer thingy that she absolutely loves, that's still tight in Lindsey's grasp and he gives in letting her take it into her mouth and start nibbling on it. Stevie takes it in her hand as the baby goes to throw it and then she sits Ginger down properly on lap and Ginger reaches out for the wafer again and Stevie just rolls her eyes.

"Don't let her lie to you, Motherhood softened her," Don states from his spot next to her.

"I...well, kind of. But she's so fucking cute." Stevie coos nuzzling her baby's cheek.

"Coming from the woman who swore she was never going to have children." Don states.

"If that's how we're going to be, I'm going to go play with my children." She huffs standing up and pushing away from the table and going towards the living room where the six-year-old is playing with her dollhouse.

"That woman didn't want children. The way she hovered over Ella while she was eating asking if she needed help cutting it if she wanted more juice, and how she fed Ginger...She didn't want children?" Tom asks.

"Nope...Ella and Eli were twins and they were conceived when she was in heat. She was so detached from the pregnancy it was awful. Eli died at 25 weeks gestation and We...well Her wolf. my wolf. and myself knew that Eli wasn't going to make it but Lily, that's Stevie's wolf kept it from her...when he was born she was so upset about the fact that he had been born dead, and that's when she really discovered the mom thing...she liked being a mom and that's why we decided to have Ginger." Lindsey explains.

"Well thank you guys for letting us make ourselves comfortable here." Tom smiles.

"I'll take you to the packhouse and help you get settled." Lindsey stands up.

"Sounds fine." Tom nods and follows Lindsey into the livingroom.

"Steph, I'm going to show them around the Packhouse and help them get settled," Lindsey tells his wife.

"Alright, have fun. I'll stay with the kiddos." Stevie smiles and waves to them.

Lindsey nods, and then Tom speaks up. "When should we meet to talk about rules and everything?"

"Um...Monday morning at ten. I'll give you the weekend to let you guys get settled." Stevie waves.
