She was showing. She was eleven weeks pregnant, not even out of her first trimester and she was showing. But she was also nervously pacing around the hallways at the werewolf council in Los Angeles California.
"Oh God Tom, I feel like I'm going to puke." She states.
"Pregnancy or nerves?" He asks.
"I don't know...I have a hard time believing its nerves because I majored in speech communication in college. I have a masters degree I went to school for six years. And I managed to run a pack while I was doing it...but I feel really sick." Stevie states.
"Well, you're going to have to do most of the talking. We've only been merged for a month and you're the Alpha." Tom states.
"Gee thanks...thanks for that," Stevie states as the door opens.
"Stephanie Nicks-Buckingham and Tom Petty." A burly man calls. Stevie and Tom share a look and Stevie gulps before the two of them head into the boardroom.

It was around eight at night when Stevie got back home and as she stuck her key in the lock and pushed into her house she was surprised to see Lindsey laid up on the couch with both of the girls.
"What's the matter?" Stevie asks shutting the door and locking it shrugging her coat off and hanging it up next to her purse.
"Ginger is getting her two-year-old molars. Wolves don't get sick-but she's burning up and she's fussy. Ella's just having a bad night." Lindsey explains.
"Oh, what's the matter Pumpkin?" Stevie asks going to sit on the couch with her little family.
"I just really miss Eli is all." She looks down and picks at the loose thread of her mom's red chiffon skirt.
"Do you want to go see Eli?" Stevie questions.
"What do you mean?" Ella sighs cuddling up against her mother's chest and stomach.
"Do you remember, when Ginger was in my tummy and we woke up on your birthday at Eli's grave?" Stevie asks.
"Yeah." Ella nods.
"You're on Spring Break right now so that means you don't have to go to school tomorrow what do you say we have daddy pack up some tents and some blankets and sleeping bags and such and we go out to his grave and we spend the night with him," Stevie suggests.
"But won't Ginger keep me up all night with her teeth?" Ella questions.
"Well she might, but daddy and I have medicines and stuff to give her to make it so she sleeps. And if you look at her right now, she's sleeping on Daddy's chest so we just have to try and make sure she doesn't wake up." Stevie tells her.
"But you don't like camping," Ella replies.
"But I miss Eli so I can sleep in the woods for a night." Stevie gives in.
"Can we daddy?" Ella turns to her father.
"I don't see why not. One tent or two Steph?" Lindsey asks.
"Why would we need two?" She asks.
"Alright." Lindsey stands up and hands the toddler over to Stevie.

When they get to Eli's grave, Stevie promises that Ella can talk to her brother in the morning but she needed to get some sleep and a couple of hours later as midnight was approaching, Lindsey joined her sitting on a rock in front of Eli's grave.
