Rachels pov:
I'd just finished my last day before summer, this is the last summer and I want it to be amazing before senior year. I've always dreamed about senior year, being high school sweethearts with a guy you've crushed on since primary 6 and graduating with all your best friends beside you and making the best out of the year. I was interrupted by my mother calling me down, I thought she was working.
"Rachel, come down honey" my mum called
So I slowly walked down the spiral staircase and followed both my parents voices, I wondered why they were both home.
"What's up?" I asked confused
"Honey we need to talk" my mum sympathetically said
"I've been offered a promotion" my dad cut in excitedly
"Oh dad that's great" i chirped happy for my dad.
"But um we need to move" my mum said a little quieter.
I thought we'd only be moving a little farther from here..
"Oh okay we're too?" I asked trying not to sound too sad.
"Sorry honey, New York" my mum barely whispered.
"WHAT?!" I screamed
"Yes Rachel. You don't have a choice we're leaving in 3 weeks." My dad finished
With that I ran up to my room the tears ready to fall, I'm moving to New York, I'm leaving my friends the place I grew up in, people I've known since playgroup
I'm leaving everything in 3 weeks.. And with that I curled up in my bed and cried until there was no tears left.
A/N; I probably won't be doing authors notes that much cause I kind of feel like it ruins the book a little but hope you enjoy my story 😄 x x x
