Chapter 2

Becketts PoV
He looked nervously when he asked her out to drink some beer and she decided that she'll be nice and that she'll make no fun about him so she respond: "Sure, why not? " She saw his eyes become bigger and a little smile was playing at his mouth. She genlty smiled back and looked into his fascinating eyes.
Than she remembered where they were and focused on the paperwork again just to  look up a last time asking the writer if 8p.m is okay. He responded with a nod and told her he'll wait here at the precinct. She nodded while her attention switched back to her desk. He took place at his chair next to her desk and took out his phone.
After a while of writing and checking she noticed that he was starring at her. Not a secret starring, no, really starring, so she slowly looked up to him just to see him looking away. She shook her head and told herself that she needs to be focused if they wanted to go out in time. Apropos time, she felt like it is standing still. 30 more minutes until... No, Beckett focus! You're at work, don't forget that!

"So I think I finished for today" said Beckett while stretching. Castle is looking pretty nervous, but also excited she thought to herself.
He stood up: "Shall we?" And offering her his arm. She would have loved to take it, but she knew they were still at work so she just ignored it, grabbed her coat and said: "Yeah, the Old Haunt?" "Of course." He was avoiding to look into her eyes and went a bit faster, probably because he wanted to leave the precinct behind. Good that she can even run in her heels, so she had no problems keeping up with him. When they were outside he finally looked at her with a undefined look in his face and asked: "Can I drive?" Kate stepped next to him, looked into his eyes and whispered : "No."  Amused she saw his disappointed face and smiled. "What? You really thought I'd let you drive?"  He must've noticed her tone, that said: play with me and he did: "Fine, if I am not driving, than I'll pay tonight." Kate didn't know how to react so she just starred at him. He took her silence as a 'yes' and went to the other side of the car. Beckett still standing there and realizing that she lost this game. Amused she shook her head and opened the car with her keyes, so Castle could get in. She went to the car, opened the door and found Castle looking at her again. He smiled softly and said: "That's going to be fun."
