"Step in here please", the officer said before I stepped into a room with only a chair and table.

"Please sit", the man said. I sat down on the chair and waited until the investigator comes in.

"Hi, I'm Susan Torres and I will just like to ask you a few questions", the woman asked.

"Ok, Ms. Torres", I said. I had to go through a bunch of stations such as security, then asking about information, and making them take my mugshot for appearance since I was not on records as an adult since I'm still 17.

"So can you tell me what happened a few hours ago", she asked.

"So, I was at my homies birthday party. It was not a party with only teenagers, there were parents also. So the birthday boy, come asked me if we could go to the front of the house because his friend told him that there were a bunch of people their. So me and a few others went out the gate to see all these men and a few women standing on top of cars, etc. Then I got mad cause their was a few words being said. So I started to fight this one guy", I said before she interrupted.

"Who is your friend identified as", she asked. "His name is Trevon", I said

"And who is the guy you was fighting".

"A guy name Chris", I said.

"Chris who", she asked.

"Thompson", I said.

"So this guy you are talking about has been noticed by the precent a few weeks ago", she said.

"I know", i said. "So then punches started to be thrown and then some of his friends started to jump me.  So I meant to push him off of me but then I push him too hard that his head crashed into the driver's seat window".

"Thank you", she said.

"Is their anything else you want to know", I said

"Yes um, you did not meant to injure the suspect, correct", she asked.

"No, ma'am", I said.

"Ok I'm done. Do you have any questions regarding to this", she asked.

"Yes, how long will I stay in here", i asked desperately.

"Until the judge takes a look at your case", she said.

"Thank you", I said even though it did not answer my question.

"No, thank you", she said shaking my hand.

Then when I got up, the guards hold onto my hands as they led me to the door.

They led me to this tiny room.

"Go in there", one of the men said.

I followed the orders and stepped into a room where I saw a bed, and a toilet.

This is going to be hell.

2 days later..

While I am writing down my thoughts about my experience here, the man came up to the little window.

"You have a visitor", he said.

I was wondering to myself who would  want to visit my behind after what I got into.

After he unlocked the door I walked out of the room.

He did not tell me to restrain, so I just walked right next to him.

They told to walked through the scanner. So I did.

Then I walked into this empty room where their were a bunch of tables with two chairs.

I saw this person with a black hoodie with black sweatpants having their back towards me as I walked up to the table.

"Hello", I said to the person. The person turned their head and right when I saw their face, my eyes started to water.

"Wassup, lil man", he said before he standed up.

I wrapped my arms around his torso and holded him tightly.

"I am so so sorry, Mekai", he said weeping.

"No, it's not your fault ,Tre", I said still hugging.

"Yes it is, I'm the one who got you in the situation, I should be the one in here", he said in my ear.

"But your not the one who crashed somebody's head into a car window", I said in his ear.

"Dont beat yourself up about it, ok", I continued.

"Okay", he said before he let go of me.

Then we both sat down sitting right across from each other.

"How you been", he asked while wiping his tear.

"I've been fine, but it has been really lonely sitting in a one person cell", I said.

"How you been, cause you are looking dead as fuck", I said as he let out a chuckle.

"I've been really sad, and felt guilty", he said.

"I told you, everything will be fine", I said. "Why you came alone".

"Because I wanted to apologize for my actions, and I didnt want to get distracted in any sort", he explained.

"Oh ok", I said.

"Who knows that you are here", I asked.

"My mom, your mom, Jalen and the rest", he said.

"I wasn't suppose to tell you, but your mom is coming in the afternoon, and the rest is coming tomorrow after school", he continues to say.

"Ok ok", I said

"What you been doing in this living hell", he said.

"Writing, and stuff", I said.

We continued small talking until I had to go for lunch.

"I'll see you later, ight", he said after the guard told me to go with him.

"Love you", is what blurted out of my mouth.

He looked at me for a second then started to giggle. He then walked out of the room.

The guards told me to go into the cafeteria where I saw the rest of the kids.

I went onto the line to get my food.

"Watch out", this kid as he skipped me .

I wasnt going to pay him no mind cause I wasnt going to get into any more trouble.

Then I see these lil 12 year olds, getting into a altercation with each other.

"Bruh, I said move my nigga", one of them said.

"I'm not moving for shit, so get the fuck outta here", the other one said.

Then the boy pushed him into a table making the other collapse. He started to punch him in his head while the other was trying to cover it.

The boy that was getting beat up, grabbed a fork from the table and started to stab the other in his arm.

I started to see blood coming out of his shoulder.

Then a bunch of guards started to come inside the cafeteria and told them to get out.

One of guards put me back into my cell immediately.

"Dont come out here", he said as he walked away.

I dont know how long I am going to deal with this shit...
