I parked my car into the girls garage.
I locked my car and went to the front of the house. I knocked on the door three times before the girl I came for opened the door.
"Hey, Mekai", the girl said before she hugged me.
"Wassup lil girl or boy", I said rubbing the girl's belly.
"Ready for your internal check up" I asked the girl who is carrying my baby.
"Yea, I just gotta get my bag with my snacks and stuff", she said.
"Naw, I got it", I asked her. "Where is it".
"Its in the kitchen", she said.
I walked into the kitchen to see this reusable bag full of food, chargers, etc.
I picked it up and walked out of the house.
Then I opened the car door for her.
"I could open the car door for my self Mekai, I am only 12 weeks", she said.
"Alrighty", I said before going to the driver seat.
"You ready", I asked
"Yeah", she said.
I put my car in reverse and backed up my car out of the garage and into the road. Then I put in on drive and start to drive forward.
"Is your mother coming", I asked.
"Yeah, she just went to the grocery store real quick", she said.
"Oh ok, are you fine like getting up from your bed and walking downstairs", I asked.
"Again Mekai, I'm fine", she said.
"Ok, I just wanna make sure you ok and if there is anything I could do", I said.
"I will call you if anything", she said.
"Ok, just making sure", I said.
Then my phone started to ring.
"Who is it", I asked.
"Willams with two hearts?", she asked with a confused face.
"Oh, that's Tre", I said confidently.
Then she look at me for a second before answering the phone.
"Hey, Trevon", she said immediately.
"Oh hey Angie", he said.
"I was just calling to ask if yall made it to the doctors office yet", he asked.
"Oh no not yet", she said.
"Well, imma call you after to tell you what happened", I said.
"Ok bye", he said before hanging up.
Then there was silence until we got to a red light
"I know this is none of my business. But why you got hearts on his last name i'm guessing",she asked as she turned her head towards me.
"Why you asking me this", I exclaim.
"I just wanna know", she said.
"Well, since I knew him for about 4 years now, and he is the one who I could joke around, laugh around, be sad around, and be mad around. I put two hearts to symbolize our rela-friendship", I explained to her.
"Also, I like to call him his last name because I think its cute", I said as I started cheesing a smile.
"I-", she stopped.
"Wait lemme finish. He has been there since day one and to be honest, he has a lil soft spot in my heart", I said whispering the last part.
"Oh ok" she said with a straight face.
It was silent until we pulled up the the doctors office.
I took out my keys and got out the car.
I went to the other side to open the door for Angie and I held onto her hand to make sure she won't bust her behind.
Then we walked into the building. We went to the elevator to go to the 6th floor.
"Hi, we are here for a doctor appointment", I said.
"Ok, name?", the receptionist asked.
"Angela Walker", Angie said.
"Ok, follow me", she said.
She left from behind the desk and she walked to the door where the gynecologist was.
"Hi Dr. Simone", Angie said.
"Hi Angela and hello Mekai", she said as she both greeted us.
