Dinah and I found a cute little coffee house not too long after we entered Manhattan. Once I parked, her and I found a perfect spot to have our brunch; an outside table, big enough for two, surrounded by beautiful red roses. Once her and I took our seats, a waiter came to take our orders. Dinah ordered a caramel macchiato, while I settled for hot cider. We decided to share a plate of cannoli, and once our orders were brought to the table, we sparked conversation.

"So tell me about your job, love," I said after taking my first bite. "How long have you been working there?"

She smiled as she swallowed her first bite and dabbed her lips with her napkin.

"So I'm the face of an independent modeling agency that's inclusive to specialties.The agency has been around for years, but I've been with them for about four years."

"Impressive! Do you have friends that work with you?"

"Only one. Her name's Kehlani. Her and I clicked our first day on set. I'm cool with everyone else, but she's the closest person I have in my corner there."

I smiled at the blonde as she took a sip of her drink.

"Will I get to meet her today?" I asked.

"Yeah," she beamed. "You'll love her. She's the best."

"What is she? If you don't mind me asking."

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"Is she a specialty? Or is she like us?"

"Neither actually. She's one of the 'normals' in our agency. One of the rare ones that fully accept us."

I nodded as I took a sip of my hot cider. We soon paid for our orders, and we were off to the agency. The building was large. On its front shone the company name.

Fallen Angels...

"Good name," I remarked as Dinah led me inside.

"I know right?" she agreed. "That's one of the reasons I joined this agency."

I smiled as we came up to the front desk, a set of twins with hair that was as red as fire beaming up at us.

"Hey guys," Dinah said. "I know I'm a little late."

"'Sup Dinah?" one of them said. "They're still setting everything up, so you're good."

"You didn't tell us you were cool with New York's most successful CEO though," the other twin said.

Dinah giggled before looking at me, her cheeks beginning to blush when I winked at her.

"Guys," Dinah said, "this is my mother."

Their faces were so priceless, I couldn't help but chuckle a little.

"Mom, this is Kaylee and Kaycee," Dinah said.

"It's nice to meet you both," I smiled.

"Wow," Kaylee said. "The CEO of Theta Beasts is actually in our lobby....OW! Kaycee I didn't actually want you to pinch me!"
