King laid out a silk, black, cami dress for me on our bed.
I smirked before putting it on, taking my hair out and fluffing out my curls. Leona came to me and kissed my cheek, her and I heading back downstairs hand in hand with Shadow following close behind.
King greeted us at the bottom of the steps. He pulled me in for a kiss before greeting Leona with a kiss to her cheek.
"Morning lovely," he uttered to me. "How do you feel?"
"I feel amazing," I smiled. "Your little surprise took very good care of me while you were out."
"I was banking on that."
He smirked at Leona as she softly gripped my hips, her eyes boring into his.
"Her energy should be mostly, if not, all the way back to a hundred percent," she replied before holding me from behind. "We still want you to take it easy, though. You did a number on yourself yesterday."
I smiled beside myself as I reveled in their warmth.
"Yes, ma'am..." I uttered.
Leona chuckled before kissing my cheek.
"Shall we go down so I can meet your daughters?"
"Well, hello there," we heard Halle coo from downstairs. "How did you get in here?"
Leona giggled.
"Looks like Shadow beat us to it," she smiled.
"Wait here," I whispered to her. "You deserve a proper introduction."
Her eyes sparkled as her smile grew. King and I walked in and greeted our girls.
Shadow was comfortably nestled into Halle's lap, her petting him lovingly while Chloe and Dinah unbagged everything they got from the market.
"Morning, babies," I said as I kissed Dinah on her cheek, then Chloe.
"Hey mama," Chloe smiled.
"Morning," Dinah blushed as her eyes took in every inch of my body.
I smirked her way, bringing my lips to the shell of her ear.
"Patience, princess," I thought to her.
I made my way over to our youngest and bopped her nose.
"Morning, mama," she giggled as she looked up at me. "You must've let in a stray when you came from the greenhouse. This little guy just popped up out of nowhere."
"He's not a stray," I smiled. "He belongs to someone really special."
"Is that my cue?" Leona thought to me.
"That it is," I thought back to her.
"Everyone," I said as Leona walked up next to me, "I want ya'll to meet someone very important to me. Other than your father, anyway. This is Leona. Her and I have known each other since high school."
"It's lovely to meet you all," she said. "I see you've all met my cat, Shadow."
"He's a lovely kitty," Halle smiled. "I'm Halle, by the way."
"I'm her twin sister, Chloe," Chloe chimed in.
"And I'm their oldest sister, Dinah," Dinah concluded.
Leona beamed with pride as all the girls introduced themselves.
"All of you are just as lovely as your mother," she smiled.
