"Twice?" Taehyung asked, his eyebrow raised. "What's that?"

"It's a girl group!" Y/N exclaimed, clapping her tiny hands. "Look! I have so many of their posters up on my wall!" She pointed at the massive collection of colourful Twice posters that were covering every inch of her bedroom wall.

The nine cute girls stared at Taehyung and he just snorted – "What's so special about them?"

"THEY MAKE ME FEEL SPECIAL!"

"The fuck?"

"It's their song, you noob," Y/N rolled her eyes. She lifted up her diary and pointed at the page of her bucket list, "going to a Twice concert is part of the list."

"Oh come on!" Taehyung whined, "do you really have to? It's just going to be a bunch of different coloured-haired girls dancing and singing. Just watch Love Live, it'll be the same thing."

"Ok first of all, Love Live is an anime, and Twice are real life girls," Y/N rolled her eyes. "Second of all, I'm not a fan of Love Live like I'm a fan of Twice you know."

Taehyung crumpled up his face in irritation – he really wasn't looking forward to this Twice concert. But Y/N just jumped around her room and found her laptop and opened it.

"They are having concerts now!" she exclaimed, "it's literally the perfect timing!"

Taehyung rolled his eyes and grumpily sat next to Y/N on the bed. He looked at the laptop screen and saw the prices for the Twice concerts tickets that started from 100,000 won to 115,000, to 125,000 to 150,000 to 175,000 to kidney and it just kept going on and on. Taehyung's eyebrows shot up and hid beneath his messy black fringe. "Why are they so expensive?" he asked.

Y/N looked at him. "They're on sale Taehyung."

"ON SALE, YOU'RE JOKING!"

"No really. That's just how much a kpop concert costs."

"You're wasting that much money just to see Love Live in real life!"

"Twice is not the same as Love Live," Y/N rolled her eyes, "and no matter how much it costs, I'm going to a Twice concert!"

A few days later Taehyung and Y/N were seated on a bus that took them to concert arena. Y/N was practically dancing the Fancy dance on her seat while Taehyung just looked at her with disappointed drooping eyebrows.

"Will you stop it?" he yawned and stretched his hands above his head.

Y/N frowned at him, "just go to sleep like you did in my car."

"The seats aren't comfortable enough in this public bus!"

"Wow you're such a crybaby!"

"I am a crybaby?" Taehyung looked at her with the most exaggerated expression on his face, "you were the one who cried the night before!"

"It's called happy tears! I was happy that I was going to a Twice concert!"

"Happy tears?" Taehyung asked, "what's that? Aren't tears for when humans feel pain?"

"I mean," Y/N started, "in most cases yes. Humans do cry when they feel pain emotionally or physically. But there are some occasions when situations are so overwhelming to us that we just cry. We aren't in pain, we are so happy that tears just come out. That's why we call them happy tears."

Taehyung nodded, his forehead crinkled in thought, "wow! That's dumb."

Y/N sighed, "why do I even bother."

The ride took a good hour. Y/N's apartment was far away from the concert arena, not to mention Seoul's terrible traffic. Y/N had straight up got a 175,000 won ticket and Taehyung almost choked on his water. Her reasoning was that she had saved up all that money for her college fee but since she now left college, she had all that money and more to spend it on whatever she wanted. Even before the Twice concert when fans were invited to the merchandise store, Y/N blew all of her money on hoodies and albums and all Taehyung could think of was how many hamburgers she could buy for that amount of money.

"Oh wow I can't believe this is actually happening!" Y/N jumped and clapped her hands in excitement.

Taehyung looked at her with his fringe hooding his bored eyes. "Why are you so excited, chill out."

"I can't ok!" she helplessly exclaimed with her voice hitting a higher octave, he face turning red and her cheeks hurting from her wide smile. "Just think of something that's so beautiful that your heart just wants to burst out of your chest! I'm so happy Taehyung, I actually can't believe that I'm going to watch my favourite girl band live!"

As much as Taehyung put on an annoyed expression, his lip arched up a bit at Y/N's cute excitement. He originally came along with Y/N to the Twice concert because he didn't want Jimin killing her; he was afraid that she might've died without even doing the things she had wanted to do.

But once Taehyung entered the stadium he probably regretted his choice – there were a million people there, men and women screaming until their voices were cracked. And Jimin was forbidden from killing another human apart from the one permitted. So Taehyung was now in the middle of this crowd of sweaty humans that wore new clothes and the smell of the store tingled his nose in the worst ways possible. He was really not having any of this.

With the price Y/N had paid, Taehyung and her were among the people who were the closest to the stage where the girl band was performing. The dimmed lights blasted into a neon splash of colours as nine girls appeared on the stage from who knows where, wearing short skirts and hair unrealistically vivid, striking poses at their fans.

They started putting on a show and Taehyung wished he could cut his ears of when the crowd lost all hearing sense and screamed a pitch unrecognizable. The nine girls danced and sang on stage and Taehyung was getting hit in the face by elbows of middle-aged men trying to copy the dance steps but failing miserably. They tried to sing as well, but were completely tone deaf and the concert was a strange contrast of the sweet voices of Twice and the horrible fan chants of all the Onces covering the whole stadium.

Taehyung wondered why they all were jumping and screaming so much – to those nine girls, no matter how much you waved your hands up in the air, you were still just another person in crowd. Excitement was a feeling that Taehyung hadn't ever felt before. In fact, he had barely felt any emotions throughout his existence apart from the satisfaction of killing a human and completing his job. He hadn't ever even realized his lack of emotional intelligence because he didn't have human qualities.

But soon when he turned his head to the side he felt an emotion that he couldn't quite explain. It was a sudden pang on his chest and he could feel his heartbeat increasing in a human way. His breathing turned uneven as he stared at the girl beside him, who was jumping and waving her arms in the air, a smile that could cure diseases.

He felt happiness – someone else's happiness was his source of the emotion that he was feeling. Her hair flipping away in wind and her eyes crinkled to nothing but half-moons, she screamed out the lyrics to Twice songs.

And now suddenly he didn't have any regrets. He wouldn't have seen her this happy if he hadn't come. Her words rang through his mind – "Just think of something that's so beautiful that your heart just wants to burst out of your chest!" He now knew what she meant; Twice was the beautiful thing for Y/N, and she was the beautiful thing for Taehyung. She came to see Twice perform, and he came to see her happy. She looked at the stage and smiled, like the rest of the audience, but all Taehyung could see and notice was her, and he smiled, the only one in the audience.
