Living with Kian Lawley

Chapter 14

Emily's pov:
I'd not like to get into detail about the airport. It was just an airport. Not super important.

We boarded the plane and I got the windows seat! Kian sat by me and conner on his other side.

I absolutely love traveling, and Planes are my favorite way to travel. I wish I could do more traveling. But that isn't always possible since I still need to get a new job.

Kian's pov:
After the flight was over, Emily was asleep, but since I didn't know my way around we had to wake her.

"Em? Em, please wake up!" I whisper. I place a soft kiss on her cheek and her eyes flutter open. It reminds me of the last time I was here at an airport with her, carrying her out to the car.

She's so beautiful.

When she finally wakes up, I grab her bag, and her hand. We walk off the plane.

Outside of the airport, Emily sees her brother and runs up to him. I feel somewhat disconnected, but still happy. I'm not sure.

"I've. Missed. You. So. Much" she tells him and he smiles at her.

"Where's Kian?" He asks. Em looks over at me and nods for me to come. It's always so awkward meeting the family.

"Hello, I'm Kian Lawley. Your David right?" He nods, and pulls me into a hug. Then he whispers to me something about he knows a lot about me. I laugh, he really is as adorable as she says.

Emily's pov:
When I see David pull Kian into a hug, I realize that this trip won't be too bad.

But I realize that that may only be a good omen for them, as I see my parents.

"Hi" I say.

"Hey lovely. Were so proud of you. No matter what you do.

"Parents sometimes get stuff wrong too ya know. We love you so much *looks to my stepdad* and were hoping that you'll still stay at our house while your here."

I smile. They may actually care.

Kian's pov:
So after me and David talk (I now have to teach him how to pass the last level in a videogame) , and Emily/ her parents are done. We head out to the car.

Then we leave. It was a little boring, but I can see why Em loves David. He really is so cute.

We drive and drive, until we come to Em and Conners houses. They are beautiful.

Once we walk out I see another girl. She wears leggings and a huge coat, she's walking her puppy. I look at her while she takes one glance at Em and then at the house.

"Em?!" She calls out. Emily stops unpacking and looks over.

"MOLLIE OMG! I haven't seen you in 4 years!" And she grabs a suitcase and runs to her (she can never stop working...)

I decide to go to the trunk and help her stepdad with the suitcases. When he realizes I'm there he smiles.

"Hi Kian, I'm glad that your here. Are we upsetting any other plans that you had?" He asks. I first don't know what to say, but then I tell him..

"Oh well I would have been spending Christmas by myself.. But I didn't tell Em that. I'm not sure why." He nods.

I think he understands.

Emily's pov:
I literally cannot believe that I just saw Mollie Price again! I haven't seen her since she moved in our freshman year. After I invited her in, Alison Green and Katie Jensen stopped by, they obviously saw my Facebook post😂

I just couldn't believe my luck. I was still dressed in my sweats from Delia's, a peachy top from H&M and this comfy sweater I got a few days ago from Urban Outfitters. I yelled to Kian, "KIAN COME IN, please take a break from the videos games!!"

He sighs, "But I love David!!!" I laugh.

"Please??" I beg. And then I hear footsteps. And a sad little Kian walks through the doorway to our dining room table. I come over and give him a huge bear hug, he looks down and kisses me on the forehead. He so warm, I want to kiss him back to badly but we've literally been dating for a night. I don't think I can. I mean we've kissed two times, technically I've kissed him back only once.

My thoughts immediately break when laughter erupts from my friends.

I've missed this.
