"Aw, you cute little kitty."

I cuddled the kitten I was giving to Luke. Clive had spoken with the Professor, and it was okay with him.

I had never had a pet before. Ironically, the only animal I had ever lived with was a robot, and yet I had my own amusement park.

But then Don Paolo made the Ferris wheel nearly run over the Professor and Luke...

The cat mewed. I held the kitten up by my face and snuggled it. It's fur felt like an itty bitty pillow.

"Soon, you'll meet someone you can talk to. Luke really knows his stuff," I told the kitten.

The cat mewed again. It's bright blue eyes were so cute and innocent.

I couldn't wait for Christmas. It was going to be so much fun. I hoped Luke liked the kitty.

I just hoped he didn't hear the meows from the hallway.

I had recently made a small bed for the kitten out of a blanket and a few pillows. I set down the cat on it. The kitten purred and fell asleep.

"Hey Flora."

I turned around to see Luke standing in the doorway.

"Hey Luke!" I exclaimed, stepping in front of the kitten.

"Want to hang out?"

Luke was blushing like a fireball. I bet I looked no better though.

"Sure!" I smiled, walking out of my room. I led him out too. I couldn't risk him seeing the little kitten before Christmas.

I just hoped he didn't catch on to my nervousness.
