I sat at my desk. School was over at the end of this week, announcing Christmas break. I was just doing some last minute research for tomorrow's lectures.
But my eye caught a velvety red paper leaning against the wall.
Christmas Party
Decemer Eighteenth
For staff and their families.
I'd only be able to take Flora though. Technically none of us were related, but I had adopted Flora a year ago.
And what was that group name Emmy had come up with? Team Layton? Luke said Emmy thought of us as a little family.
Truth be told, that was sort of how we acted.
Maybe that would be allowed.
I wasn't entirely sure about it. but Claire would probably tell me to. She always got people out of their comfort zones.
No harm in asking, I guess.
I just wondered how they would act. Luke and Flora mainly, being kids.
But then again, they were part of Team Layton too, so there was no leaving them behind.
