DEIRDRE'S VIEWPOINT
"He wasn't very friendly." Mel stated as she slumped onto the floor. Deirdre looked up at her friend.
"Why, what did he say?"
"He implied that I should use more caution and that I wasn't making a wise decision in approaching him. Then he told me to find something else to do."
"He was busy then, and you interrupted him. He knows you want to talk to him now, so will summon you when he's not preoccupied."
"He wasn't even doing anything, just reclining on his throne playing with his cane." Mel protested.
"Oh, he can do plenty without looking busy, trust me. He may look like a man, but he is certainly not one. He could have been directing his entire army or building a new section of the Isles. More likely though, is that he was toying with my father." Deirdre frowned. Knowing how cruel the mad Daedra could be, she was pretty sure he'd make sure that her father didn't come out of this mentally intact. She'd seen others... the others he'd toyed with like a cat with a mouse. Even the inhabitants of Skyrim and all of Tamriel called those cursed with insanity 'Sheogorath touched', whether or not he directly had a hand in it. She loved Sheogorath but hated what he could do at times. He was never cruel to her, on the contrary, he treated her like his queen. His way was the only way, though. What Sheogorath wanted, Sheogorath got. His realm, his creation, his rules, and she knew better than to argue or question him. She sighed.
"I've wanted to show you what the Wabbajack can do. Leave Sheo to do whatever he's doing. As I said, he'll summon you when he's ready."
Outside New Sheo Bliss, the girls walked along the colorful fragrant path. Giving her energy, Deirdre loved Bliss. It was so refreshing.
"We'll probably find some Grummites or Gnarls out here. I'll show you what this bad boy can do." She laughed.
Walking in silence for several moments, Mel cleared her throat and spoke.
"I... I like one of the citizens here."
"That's good Mel. I've made lots of friends here too."
"No, Deirdre... I LIKE on the citizens..." She blushed, looking down and kicked a pebble.
"Really??? Who?"
"Rendil Drarara..."
"The cook?"
"Yeah...""So make a move, just like to told me. The worst he can say is no. I mean, he can be kind of rude, but it doesn't hurt to try. Bring him him a basket of Grummite eggs, they're his favorite ingredient to use. That, and if you can, bring a nirnroot for him. He won't know what to say. I have a few that I brought from Skyrim. You can't find them in the Shivering Isles." Deirdre smiled at her friend.
Mel looked up. "You'd do that for me?"
"Of course I would! Now let's go see what we can do with this Wabbajack!"
