Shawn and Kai went to the library to search through yearbooks to see if something triggered Kai's memory. Dixie searched the cafeteria for Marcus. And Sam continued his terrible date with Penny.

"Whew! I really tore it up out there!" Penny said coming back.

"Yeah." Sam said back. "Here's your purse."

"Hey, Pen." A handsome white guy approached the two.

"Oh my god, Mark. It's so great to see you." The two hugged.

"Oh haha who's this?" Sam fake laughed.

"Sorry- Mark, this is my date, Sam. He's a..."

"Detective." Sam stuck his hand out.

"Wow a cop. Total upgrade." Mark said shaking his hand.

"I know right?" Penny said.

"That's my wife over there." Mark pointed to a gorgeous woman.

Penny grew a look of disgust and jealousy.

"My bad, I'm Mark. Penny's high school boyfriend." He said.

"Yup. All six years." Penny laughed.

Sam stared.

"I was a cheerleader not a scientist." Penny shrugged.

"Well I should be going. Nice meeting you Sam. Nice seeing you again, Penny." Mark walked to his wife.

"Let's go dance. Show off your gun a little huh?" Penny dragged Sam to the dance floor,

right next to Mark.

In the library, Kai opened a year book and tried to find the guy from earlier.

"Just like old times huh?" Shawn smiled to him as he flipped through pictures.

"I can't do this with you right now." Kai flipped to a certain page.

"Here's his formal picture." Shawn pointed to a blank faced Marcus.

"What's the story with this guy anyways?" Kai asked.

"He got in a nasty car crash with Veronica and Monty. Got someone killed. He went crazy after that and tried attacking Veronica. So he was expelled right before graduation." Shawn explained. Then he stopped.

"What?"

He flipped through the book. He stopped when he saw a pic of Veronica, Monty, and another kid in between them. "Is this the guy you saw fall?" He asked.

Kai looked to the man and recognized his dark skin. "Yeah- yeah I think it is."

Shawn sighed and got up.
