As I drove up to Diana’s house, I saw her walk out the door as she yelled something over her shoulder as she pulled her shirt down to show some more cleavage and unzipped her black hoodie. Dania’s hair glinted a scarlet red as she raced towards my car with a shake of her waist length hair and a glint of unusual green eyes that she always ringed with coal color eyeliner she slid into my car with a growl.

“You’re wearing your favorite jeans…” My voice trailed off and I tensed. “Please tell me you’re not meeting Ripper again.” She was silent which I knew answered my question. “Come on.” I knew it was futile.

“He said he missed me.” She said defensively.

“Just be careful, okay?” I asked and turned up the volume.

When we neared the clearing in the woods I saw the spark of the fire and I felt nerves race inside of me. Fear and excitement made me speed up and want to get up and as I heard the music that seemed to beckon me I smiled.

“Ready to party?” She asked with a grin that promised nothing. I locked the doors and we walked to the crowed of swaying people and I was instantly swallowed into it. My body swaying with everyone and I was instantly drunk on everything. As one song bled into another and Dania next to me as the bodies constantly changed around us, I had long since lost my sweatshirt and I knew the night’s air bit at my skin but I ignored it and danced with the guys around us.

“I’m going to get a beer, want one?” Dania yelled over the music but I shook my head. I couldn’t drink, it would show up on a screening for gymnastic, but as I touched her arm I went and grabbed her one from the cooler set next to a tree. As I cracked open the top I shimmied my way back to her and handed it to her.

Soon she had drunk it and another and her moves became sloppy and I confiscated her phone and cut her off from alcohol. Then I had to start taking her away from strange groups of people and I knew my evening had come to an end. One more song she begged and as I turned to see who was dancing behind me and with a smile I turned around to find Dania missing.

“Crap,” I growled and shoved my way through the crowd to try and find Dania. “Where are you?” I sighed and tried to stand on my tippy toes but I was still too short. The music stopped and the whole crowed started to part in the middle. I expected a raid, it had happened before but no one was running or had shouted a warning. This was something different. I had never stayed this long before and I really didn’t know what was happening and I panicked. Where was Dania?

I shoved and shouldered my way through the crowed and when I finally got the edge of the crowd and saw that the middle was clear and mats lain on the ground of the woods.

As a man with tattoo’s and a lot of muscles stepped forward and I saw Dania on the other side she stepped forward as she saw me and onto the matt.

“And we have our first volunteer!” He slung his arm around her shoulders and she looked around confusedly and stumbled a little. The man with the mike straightened her and barked a laugh, his greasy hair hung at his shoulder.

“And here is the three time champion, Mister Bone Eater!” And out walked a tall, muscular and shaved headed, biggest and tallest guy I had seen, as he hoped onto the mat and looked at Dania and gave a cruel smile.

I leaned to the girl closest to me and nudged her. She glared at me from her coal rimmed eyes and sneered at me showing yellow stained teeth. “What?” She snarled.
