(Decided to add a song to this chapter, I will say it when you need to play it)
"Does somebody know where Makoto is?" Aizawa looks at the students. Everybody shakes their heads. "Tch."
"I guess she can't participate in this anyway so it doesn't really matter," He rubs his face, "So you guys probably know about this. The provisional hero licenses, you do exams in your second year to get these, but the school decided that the first years will participate in this for this year as well."You let yourself fall onto your bed. How late is it? You look at your phone, it's 5 P.M., you still have some time left before you need to go to recovery girl. At first they didn't want you to go to class, but you didn't want to miss anything so you were allowed to go. You thought about Makoto all day, where is she? It's nothing like her to leave without saying a word. You need to get your mind off things so you search up one of your favourite songs, coming out from Jessie Paege. (Thanks to my friend who suggested this song to me, I really love it. If you don't support lgbtq+ stuff, please leave.)
You really like karaoke and you have a pretty good voice (Start the song ^)
You put on your headphones and get ready to sing:My daddy told me
This isn't the way God intended me to be
He tries to mold me
But maybe his God isn't the God for me
Oh, it's 'cause I despise you
So why do I feel guilty
When I defy you
I won't apologize for anything I am
I won't apologize 'cause you don't understand
I spent my life hiding what was going on inside
I'm finally alive
I'm taking back my life
I won't apologize for anything I am (I'm coming out)
...
You're door wasn't fully closed, Todoroki walked by and stopped to hear you sing.
I spent my life hiding what was going on inside (I'm coming out)
I'm finally alive
I'm taking back my life
My mama told me
Life's not easy when you're made differently
But life it showed me
It's worth all the pain to live honestly
Oh
Finally discovered
I was seeing black and white
But now I'm living in color
I won't apologize for anything I am
I won't apologize 'cause you don't understand
I spent my life hiding what was going on inside
I'm finally alive
I'm taking back my life
I won't apologize for anything I am (I'm coming out)
I won't apologize 'cause you don't understand (I'm coming out)
I spent my life hiding what was going on inside (I'm coming out)
I'm finally alive
I'm taking back my life (I'm coming out)
I'm coming out
I'm coming out
I'm coming out
I'm coming out
I won't apologize for anything I am (I'm coming out)
I won't apologize 'cause you don't understand (I'm coming out)
I spent my life hiding what was going on inside (I'm coming out)
I'm finally alive
I'm taking back my lifeyou sigh and wipe away the tears. Where are you Makoto?
"You're a good singer.' Todoroki walks into your room.
You jump up, "AAH TODOROKI!!" You try to hide your face with your pillow.
"Where was that song about?" He sits down on the chair at the end of your bed.You let yourself fall onto the floor, legs still on the bed. "I guess I can tell you since we're friends. It was a song about coming out."
"Coming out of what?" He asks.
You raise one eyebrow, "You're so innocent. About your sexuality, dummy."
"Oh..."
You sigh, "I am bisexual, do you know what that means? Guess not, I like boys, but also girls. Get it? But I just felt like singing since my mind is one big mess now."
Todoroki nods and he has an understanding expression on his face, "Is this song important to you?"
You nod slightly, "You know, I had a pride flag in my room when I still lived with my step-dad, I only lived in that small room for a year. When my step-dad found out about my pride flag he wasn't particularly happy about it. He was furious and asked why I wasn't normal, why he needed to care for such trash as I am," You giggle in a disgusted way, "He threw out my flag and burned it, he did the same thing with me, he burned my shoulder and threw me out of the house." You show Todoroki your shoulder."I cover it up most of the time, I don't like people asking questions about it. You know, the thing that disgusts me the most is that he said I wasn't normal. Who said being straight is normal? Why are we being taught that liking the opposite gender is normal?" You sigh and let yourself fall completely on the floor.
"I totally get what you are trying to say and it's okay. Also, Makoto will come back, don't worry."
"You really are clairvoyant." You stand up, "Let's get something to eat, I am starving."(AHHH SHORT CHAPTER ALERT xD, sorry for these short chapters D:)
