12 Days Before Christmas

Chapter 11

"On the second day of Christmas, my true love sent to me, two turtle doves."

24th December 2014, Wednesday.

"Tweet! Tweet!" i opened my eyes and looked around my room blurrily. Did i just... Wake up to birds chirping? What the hell. Well, this was a change of situation. For starters, Lidsy wasn't stuck on my body and waking me up noisily. Where was she?  

I sat up straight in bed and stretched while yawning. I didnt have to go to work today so Lidsy suggested to go watch movies together. But she was nowhere to be found. Seriously, where is that girl?  

I walked around barefooted and goosebumps started appearing on my skin because it was too chilly. Did she turn off the heater or something?  

"Lidsy?" i called out to the seemingly-empty apartment.

My head snapped up to the direction of her room where i heard a sleepy groan. I muffled a giggle. Was she still sleeping? Suddenly, an evil thought popped into my mind and i crept stealthily inside her bedroom.

"WAKE UP!" I jumped on her bed multiple times before sitting on her, "LIDSY WAKE UP!"

"AAAAAAAAAH!" A bloodcurdling scream so chilling erupted from her mouth that i covered my ears in shock. Holy shit, was she being murdered or something?

"Edsy! Don't do that!" she said, pale-faced, "I had a bad dream."

"Awwww, you poor loser. Come here," i said and wrapped my arms around her. Another evil smile appeared on my face as an idea popped into my brain.

"Only weaklings have nightmares," i whispered in her ear before quickly running out of her room.

"You ass!" She shrieked in between laughter and threw a pillow at me (which hit me on the head), "Get ready! I'm taking you out."

"Out? Out where? Is it another surprise?" i asked curiously.

"Apparently so," Lidsy said thoughtfully and touched the scar under her chin. It was her thinking scar.

 "So whats gonna happen?" i asked eagerly.

"I don't know," she shrugged her shoulders and gave me an innocent smile. A little too innocent.

I narrowed my eyes at her before giving up. I wasn't going to get anything out of her. Eyeing her one last time, i slowly, exaggeratedly backed off and heard her giggle when i locked the bathroom door.

I had a feeling i was going to see Chanyeol soon. Real soon.

"Here we are!" Lidsy exclaimed and pointed to the movie complex in front of us.

"We're going to watch a movie? But we've watched literally everything!"

"We haven't watched Pyramid yet! Come on, lets go!" she started pulling me to join the long queue.

"Lidsy," i said softly, "Are you sure you want to watch a scary movie? I mean, can your weak heart stand it?"

Lidsy looked like she was stuck between wanting to kiss me and punch me for being concerned but calling her weak at the same time. In the end, she settled for rolling her eyes.

"Ass," she muttered, more to herself than me, "I can take it!"

"Hello, Lidiya! Ms Eldina!" A man behind the counter greeted us cheerfully.
