"Here's your five year contract" "Sign right here" Mr. Monte Lipmin said to me and my mom. 'Trey Amir Jackson' I signed. "Welcome to Republic Records" He said as he shook my hand. "I'm glad to be here" as we were on our way out of his office, he stopped us and said "Oh wait here's your check." "Thank you" I said.
"Mom" I said, "Yes baby?" She said in a caring tone. "This is a check for 5 million dollars" I yelled. "Boy watch your mouth and quit lying to me now" she said as she slapped my arm. "No really look" I showed her. "God damn" she said as she covered her mouth. "Mom" I yelled. "Sooorrry" she said in sad tone. Wow I can't believe I'm becoming a singer. I dont know what to do. I'm gonna buy my momma a house and whatever she wants tho. But as for me I dont know. Niggas always want shit and to be honest my life is fine without anybody except for my mom. I thought Imani would be my bestfriend forever but it turns out that was temporary and I really dont give a fuck. I'm about to become a hard working entertainer and I dont have time for games anymore. I handed my mom, nine hundred thousand dollars as we walked out the bank and into our cars and told her to spend it on whatever she needs. "Thank you" she said as she headed towards we and gave me a hug, "I love you so much and im proud to be your mother and Im gonna take this journey with you. Just not by your side. Call me whenever your not busy cause baby you know no matter what I'll always be in your heart. You dont have to call all the time just call me and check up on me. Again, I love you so much" she said as we hugged each other again. "I love you mama" I said waving goodbye, "I love you too baby" she said doing the same and we both got into our cars and went our seperate ways. I thought to myself: man I have a busy day ahead of me.
Dominic POV:
Man life been so dull and simple without Trey. I kinda felt bad for what I did but I could see he didn't care anymore. Its been two years since I even seen him. Its been a really long as time. Im just alone in this house regretting everything I ever did to this boy. "Let me stop laying in my sorrow and get up" I told myself. So I headed downstairs and turned on Vh1 because the music was on. I loved to see all the new artists coming up so I was always excited when the artist to watch came on. I sat on the couch and started watching TV. As soon as I started watching artist to watch came on. "I am here with artist to watch Trey Jackson" Misty Kingma said in excitement. My mouth literally dropped. Hes going to be famous. I have no words. He made it in Hollywood.
