You can never be too sure about the one you fall for. I mean who could have imagined that it would be Virik Jindal of all people? And within a week?

What if it's just a fling kind of thing?

But he seemed genuine.

My lips curve into a smile.

Today is the Day.

The day of Asmara's wedding.

Growing up, I took it upon myself to annoy the hell out of Asmara, primarily because she was 'Elder sister' and it basically my duty to annoy her whenever we met. Despite Rhea being closer to her age, Asmara was always closer to me. She would never accept it, but I just know. When the pervy Jay incident happened, Asmara was perhaps the most vocal about it. If it was upon her, she would have never let Jay in, but he is the only son-in-law of her mother's family, not like she has an option.

But I don't think he even bothers her, but then why does he bother me? Even when he's not in my sight, just the fact that he's in close proximity and infact inside the same building as me makes me shudder.

I can't be thinking about him. I haven't thought about him for a few days, why now?

I shake the thoughts of him out of my head and looked up to see Asmara almost ready, looking at me through the mirror she sat infront.

"Yana?" Navya called out and I turned to her, my body alert now that I noticed Rhea had come in Asmara's as well."Can you please grab my phone from our room? I would have gone get it but I'm afraid the groom's side will kidnap me."

"You are from the groom's side." I pointed out. "Infact you're the groom's only sister."

"But I have to be here, atleast till Asmara gets ready! She's my best friend!" She exclaimed,"Will you please get it?"

"Fine, but you owe me one." I warned her as I stepped outside of the room and into the hallway.  I walked towards our room, taking in the details of the decor. This hotel really is exquisite. It's nothing less than a fairy tale.

I felt someone grab my arm from behind and pull me into a room, the sudden impact of which resulted in my right foot slipping off from my sandal and getting stuck between the door and the door frame, preventing the door to be closed.

The person dragging me didn't notice and I turned around to escape but his grip only tightened.

That monster.

"Don't be difficult now, let's have some fun." Jay muttered into my ears as he dropped me off on the bed roughly.

"Get off!" I pushed him away and kicked him but he was too strong for me. I kicked him again but he put his leg on mine, capturing me. He started licking my neck and I continued to struggle.

"Get off! Help!" I screamed, hoping that the door was still held open by my sandal and someone would hear me. He pressed his lips on mine and held my head in his hands, keeping my head in place.

"What is this?" I heard a cry and Jay pulled away from me, due to sheer shock and I sat up.

Why? Why can't I ever not be in trouble?
