"You threw a glass vase at him?" Asmara asked again as she looked at her reflection in the mirror once more

"You threw a glass vase at him?" Asmara asked again as she looked at her reflection in the mirror once more. "Can't say I'm not proud."

"And you slammed the door on Virik's face?" Alia inquired.

I shook my head in postive.

"Can't say I'm not proud." Asmara hummed again.

"I'm going to check the arrangements one last time. And maybe I'll even steal some alcohol." I said as I got out of the room and closed the door behind me before walking over to the staircase and taking a seat. I had shortlisted some lawyers to put Jay behind the bars. Out of the several lawyers in Delhi, one name stood out.

Aairah Abbasi.

Maybe because of the alliteration? Or maybe because she's known to fight several similar cases? Or maybe because she's quite close to my age? Yup, definitely alliteration.

"We need to talk." Not again.

"I'm done talking to Jindals." I snarked and got back to my phone.

"But I'm the better Jindal." Vivaan smiled smugly as he sat beside me. "And why are you searching for lawyers?"

"Because I need to sue someone." I said and closed my phone, keeping it aside.

"That's a good idea." He said nodding, "But will it be enough?" I looked at him confused and he continued,"I mean, you'll need to move on after dragging his ass to the court. And as much as I don't like him, Virik is my brother. And he kinda loves you, a lot."

"Love isn't enough." I said and got up from the staircase, "It's almost time for the reception."

I walked down the staircase as I waved a goodbye at Vivaan as he just sat there, giving me a small salute gesture.

A gesture which I really deserved. Scandalous events and Indian aunties? Not a good combo. Just a few more hours, Yana.

As everyone congratulated the couple, I saw Rhea and Jay stealing glances at me and whispering something. The humiliation and embarassment clicked something inside me and I suddenly felt a rush of adrenaline. Suddenly feeling brave, I walked upto them and stopped when I stood right infront of him. I took a moment to take in their faces, void of any colour and then leaned in to whisper so that only the two of them could hear. And for the dramatic effect.

"If I were you, I'd be looking for lawyers because you are so going to jail Jay. " And then, without skipping a beat, I walked away. I don't know where. I just have to pull the dramatic exit thing.

"Are you going to tell me what you told them?" I stopped dead in my tracks as I glared at the man who currently was on my hit list.

"No, Virik. I'm not telling you anything." And then walked away towards Asmara and Tarun to click a few pictures, ignoring the hurt look on Virik's face.

Sometimes, you just have to let it go.
