(Shaun in MM)

As I was walking to fourth period, I see Shaun and the other boys on the football team leaving the locker room. Shaun sees me and walks over to me

"Hey cutie," he said, smiling.

"Wassup babyboy,"

"What class you got?"

"Gym. You?"

"For real? I got gym too," he replied, smiling.

"Really?" I asked.

"Nahh," he laughed. "But lemme show you around."

"Okay," I replied, trying to act nonchalant.

As we made our way to gym, we began talking.

"So, where you from?" Shaun asked.

"L.A. But my mom and I moved here to be closer to family after my dad died," I replied.

"What happened to your dad?"

"He died of cancer when I was 11," I said, fighting back tears.

"Aw, baby I'm sorry." Shaun replied, as grabbed me and gave me a hug. Lawwwwwdddd. To be honest if I could stay here I would. He's about 6'2" and I'm 5'5" so my head fits perfectly on his built chest. And his smell...

"Hey! Get to class!" the school dean yelled.

We both laughed as I wiped away my tears and made our way to the football field, where apparently the gym class was being held today.

"It's okay," I said, after a minute. "I mean, it's different without him, but yanno life goes on."

"True that," he replied.

"So, how long you been living here in Crenshaw?" I asked.

"Since birth," he answers. "I like it here but I plan on making it big in my football career and leaving here,"

"Is Tyra really your twin?"

He laughed. "Nahh, but she a real pain in the ass though,"

"I bet. She won't leave me alone for 5 seconds." I said. "Why doesn't she like me?"

"Because I like you," he answered back.

Shieeeettttt. Did this nigga really just say he like me? I couldn't stop myself from blushing.

We enter the football stadium, and the gym coach approaches us.

"Who's this Shaun?" asked Coach Lofton.

"This is Aaliyah. She's new here so I was explaining to her what we do in the class." he said.

"OK, well you do that. The rest of the class will be continuing on with our activity,"

We make our way to the bleachers. "Why is that?" I asked, taking a seat.

"Why is what?" he said.

"Why don't your sis like me because you got feelings for me?" I couldn't help myself from blushing when I said that.

He looked at me and gave me that sexy smirk.

"Because she wants me to date her ugly ass friend,"

I laughed, "Well damn,"

We talked about everything, from our parents to our shoe sizes. What we wanted to be in life. What we want in a relationship. Just about everything. By the end of the period, I probably knew more about him than anyone at the school.
