Aaliyah POV
September
Its been a month since Shaun and I broke up. I've been in my feelings every since. Michelle been trying to help me move on. She's been trying to hook me up with different guys. But, to be honest I didn't want none of them.
None of them was like Shaun. I would have never thought that it would come to this. He has probably moved on by now. But I miss him so much, its sickening.
We were supposed to take our Senior pictures together. But I guess that wasn't meant to be..

I miss Aaliyah. Every since I got here at USC bitches been trying to flirt with me.
I mean some of them was fine as hell. But none of them compared to Aaliyah.
She probably moved on to another nigga by now. I ain't gonna throw shade, but I hope she's happy.

Aaliyah POV
"Hey cutie," said Nick, one of the guy's Chelle was trying to hook me up with. Nick was Puerto Rican. I'm not gonna lie, he was kinda cute, he could dress, but to be honest, he wasn't my type.
"Hi," I replied, bluntly.
"You wanna get lunch together mami?" he asked.
I sighed. "Look Nick. You a cute, nice guy and all. But I don't wanna be all lovey dovey with someone right now,"
"Ight lil mama," he replied, as he walked away. I could tell he was hurt. He had told me that he had a crush on me since I got here but he never found the courage to talk to me.
If only Shaun knew that, I thought, as I laughed to myself.
Oh. My. God. I did it again. I gotta forget about Shaun. He probably done forgot me, so why can't I?
I made my way to the lunchroom to meet up with Michelle for lunch.

Shaun POV
Our football preseason is over, so now I was excited to start my official season. After practice, I took a quick shower and made my way to my locker. I took a seat on the bench in front of my locker stared down at my phone. Aaliyah's name on the screen. My thumb hovered over the screen.
I should call her, I thought, as my thumb got closer to the call now button.
I set my phone down on the seat next to me.
Nahhh, she probably busy with her new boyfriend, I thought.
Suddenly Cody Kessler, USC starting quarterback, walked into the lockerroom, as I turned off the screen to my phone.
"Who was that?" Cody asked.
I looked at the phone then back at James.
"No one important," I replied, with all seriousness.
