"There is something wrong with him," his mom told the doctor. "He is losing weight really quickly, I can't think of what's wrong with him." Ethan looked down and stared at his shoes.
"When did he eat last?" The doctor asked.
"Uhm, this morning at breakfast."
They were nice shoes, soft and blue. He stared at his shoes until his vision became blurry. He was tired, very very tired. So his vision went black and he slept. He woke up in a room with a new doctor, but his mom was still there. But two men were dragging her out the door, she screamed but they dragged her away... away.
"Hello, Ethan,"
"Where is my mom going?" Ethan asked, ignoring the doctor.
"Don't worry, everything will be okay," the doctor said. Ethan nodded but it didn't feel right, and he knew others felt the same.
Maybe the hospital was meant to help, but Ethan highly doubted it. Ethan was certain the hospital was making them all sicker.
