"Many, many centuries ago," Ezra said, "Bill Cipher began his attack on the Galaxy when he was created from the dissonance of the different aspects of the Force. Because of the dissonance, he found purpose in chaos."

"In order to combat it," Kanan continued, "the Force users banded together to destroy him, but they didn't know if it'd be enough. So they devised a plan."

"They searched for a star system that was so far removed from the known worlds, that it would take Bill a long time to find it. So they found this system."

"They needed to ensure that Bill couldn't get in, so they took their time in the same process that created Bill and made sure the Force harmonized. The result was a barrier around the entire system."

"Because it's the exact opposite of what made Bill, he couldn't get in. This was a final standing ground."

"However, Bill was defeated somehow. Over the centuries this system was lost to time and forgotten until Caesar brought us here."

Everyone was silent. They were trying to understand the abridging of what they discovered.

"So," Wendy said, "Bill couldn't get in before, but he's here now. How?"

"He wasn't physical," Ezra said, "because he was part of the cosmic Force, he was able to exist everywhere. Him forcing Sabine and me to summon him was through the dissonance of the charged items we had collected."

Soos was writing everything down.

"Let's just assume here," Stan said, "that Bill doesn't have anyone who can tell him that. What's to stop him from dropping the barrier and going to the rest of the Galaxy?"

"He would need a Jedi, Sith, or Nightsister." Kanan said, "Someone who could actively manipulate an aspect of the Force that created the barrier to take it down."

Soos raised his hand.

"You don't have to raise your hand, Soos." Hera said.

"Oh, sorry, dudes. But I was wondering..." he said, "if you'd need a Sith, or a Jedi, or a Nightsister to destroy the barrier, couldn't the same be done to destroy Bill?"

Everyone looked at Soos in disbelief. He may have actually thought up the way to win. Kanan remained silent as he concentrated on the Force make up of Bill.

"Yes," he said with optimism, "he can be destroyed like that."

Ezra concentrated on Bill, too. He could sense that Kanan was right, but there was something that he didn't say: in order to destroy Bill, either he or Kanan would have to be within six feet of him, which meant certain death.
