Emma
The next morningI woke up and Ethan was still sound asleep next to me. I ran my fingers through his soft hair, then I lightly shook his shoulder.
"Ethan. Wake up." I whispered.
He stirred a little bit, but he didn't wake up. He was always a heavy sleeper unless I was screaming at him to wake up.
So, I tired my second best option. I leaned over and pressed my lips to his neck, trailing kisses up to his ear. My hand was resting on his cheek, my thumb moving softly back and forth. "Baby, wake up." I whispered.
He rolled over in his sleep so that he was partially on top of me, and he tightened his arms around my waist. "Go back to sleep, Nina."
I pressed a soft kiss to his lips, his mouth feeling warm against mine. "Ethan, please wake up. I'm bored and we still have a long time until we get to Denver."
He opened his eyes, pecking my lips before he sat up in bed. We both were still naked from last night's bedroom festivities. He grabbed my hand, examining my engagement ring before kissing my knuckles. "Love looks good on you, babe."
I smiled as I sat up and leaned my head against his shoulder. "What kind of wedding should we have?"
"An easy, private one."
"City Hall?"
Ethan smiled at me. "City Hall, then a little ceremony to please our family."
"We could get married on Nantucket Island." I suggested. Ethan gave me a long peck on my lips.
"I love that idea, Cara."
My forehead still pressed against his, I brought my hand up to his face, moving my thumb back and forth on his skin.
"I love you so much, Ethan ." I whispered. Our lips attached again in a slow, warm kiss.
Ethan's lips trailed down to my neck, and my hand laced into the back of his hair. "I love you too, honey."
I smiled. "I have a surprise for you in Denver."
Ethan stopped kissing my neck, lifting his head to look at me. "You do?"
"Mmhmm. I wrote a new song about you."
"I'm so excited to see you perform."
"And you know what else happens in Denver?" I asked.
"What?"
"Everyone gets high."
Ethan laughed. "Obviously everyone smokes. It's Denver."
I smiled. "We're in Denver for three days. Tonight we settle, tomorrow is the show and the after party, and the day after that is a day of rest until we leave that night.
"What's the next city after Denver?"
"Vegas. After that is Boise, Idaho, then Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington before we fly down to Texas for Austin and Dallas."
Ethan wrapped his arms around me, leaning over so that we were laying down again. He nuzzled his nose into the crook of my neck, pressing his lips to my skin. "I'm so proud of you, Nina. And I can't wait for you to be my wife." His lips trailed up to my mouth, and our lips moved in sync while his hands roamed my body.
One thing led to another, and a few minutes later he was slipping his length into my entrance, and slowly moving in and out.
I leaned my head back against the comforter as we kept the slow pace.
Ethan was going slow, but hitting deep spots, so it felt incredible.
I was trying my best to be quiet, softly moaning continuously into his ear as he kept slowly snapping his hips into mine.
Eventually after a while longer, I clenched around him as I started to reach my high, tugging at his hair and digging my hand into his back.
We both finally finished, and then got up to clean ourselves up and take a quick shower.
After that I dried my hair and put on some sweat pants and a t-shirt.
Ethan had shorts and a t-shirt on, and we came out of the bedroom to the main part of the tour bus that had the table booth and a kitchen, and a small living area where Amanda and Olivia were hanging out.
Ethan and I both made quick microwaveable bean burritos before we sat down at the table to eat.
"Morning, lovebirds." Olivia said, getting up and coming over to sit by me. The booth had a round seating area, and could sit about six people. I scooted closer to Ethan so that Amanda could sit by Olivia if she chose, but she stayed busy on her computer. Most likely answering emails from my employees who weren't currently on tour.
"Hey, Liv." I said. "Did you get a good nights rest last night?"
"Yeah. Surprisingly I slept really good. You'd be surprised at how comfy the beds in the bunkhouse are."
"The bed in the bedroom is super nice too. I'm gonna see if we can get those type of mattresses for our house." I said, looking at Ethan. He nodded.
"That sounds spectacular, babe." He responded.
I turned to Olivia. "Are you excited for Denver?"
She nodded excitedly, showcasing a wide grin on her face. "We're totally smoking a shit ton of weed when we get there."
I laughed. "That's what I was telling Ethan."
"You girls are crazy." Ethan said.
"Yeah and you've put up with me for over twenty years." I responded, leaning towards him for a kiss.
He pecked my lips quickly before eating the rest of his burrito. "Because I love you, Cara."
"I love you too." I said as he got up, clearing both of our empty plates from the table.
I got up to go to the bathroom, pulling my hair up into a ponytail because it was hot in the tour bus.
My publicist said that the anti-anxiety pills only work if you take them regularly, so I took one. It's supposed to be every 12 hours, but it's been more like 15 since I took the first one.
I went back into the living room area, and sat down next to Ethan on the couch. He saved me a seat.
He wrapped his arms around me, and I smiled at him before pecking his lips. I leaned my head on his chest, and everyone was just relaxing because tomorrow is gonna be a big day, so might as well relax when we have down time.
I started to feel the medicine kick in, and I felt good. There was a slight buzz to it, and it just made me feel energetic but calm at the same time.
We had six hours until we were scheduled to arrive in Denver. The nice thing is that the tour staff and the band gets to stay in hotels in the cities we're in for more than one day.
So, we're staying in a really cool hotel in Denver.
I'm just glad that Ethan is here with me. I wouldn't want to do this tour without him.
