Kakashi woke up to an all white room. He recognized the white halls of Konoha's hospital. He laid there for a few seconds before he remembered what had happened before he had passed out. He shot up in bed and ripped out his IV's. Itachi was after Akari.

Nurses flooded into the room as he screamed and tried to get out of bed. It took seven orderlies to calm him down as his voice cracked, trying to get them to understand that Akari was in danger.

"Kakashi! Stand down!" He heard the Hokage's voice  boom over the chaos that was his hospital room. He immediately stopped fighting, but was still breathing heavily.

"Where is she?" Kakashi breathed out, wanting to hear that she was safe in Konoha. The Hokage's expression was grim, and Kakashi's heart stopped as he heard the Hokage's next words.

"Itachi took her from the village."

Akari woke up with immense pain in her head. She could feel exactly where Itachi had hit her in the head with his kunai. She opened her eyes and tried to make out where she was with her blurred vision.

She could see she was in a bedroom, and was sitting in a bed with her hands chained together to one of the bed posts. There was a nightstand with a lamp next to her bed, and a chair next to the nightstand. She saw a dresser across the room from her, and no windows.

She tugged at the chains, trying to see if she had any chance of breaking out of them. She yanked and pulled, but she only felt them cut into her wrists more. She hissed in pain as she felt a new cut form from pulling. She was frustrated with her situation, and she was even more worried about Kaito. She had seen him go down, and the more that moment replayed in her head, the harder she pulled against her chains. She screamed in frustration and got so upset she kicked over the nightstand and shattered the lamp on top of it. She looked at the bed post and saw the wood was relatively thin and already scratched up from her pulling so hard. Her eyes widened, and she reached up to grab the post. She pulled and yanked on it with all of her strength, trying to break the wood in front of her. She channeled all of her chakra into her arms as she gave one final pull and the wood broke.

She stared with wide eyes at the post that was in her hands now as she pulled the chain off of the stump of the post. Her hands were still chained together, but she wasn't chained to the bed anymore. She got up off of the bed and ran to the door. She wasn't surprised to find it locked, but she looked around for something to try and pick the lock with. She saw that the lightbulb in the lamp had broken and some of the wire was sticking out so she decided to try that. She twisted the wire together and stuck it into the lock. She jiggled it around, and just as she was about to unlock the door, it swung open, and she barely jumped out of the way to avoid being hit.

Itachi stood in front of her, his eyes trained on her as she tried to keep a straight face. The room had been destroyed. The nightstand and lamp were on the floor, the latter one being shattered. The bed post had been effectively sawed off, and the sheets on the bed were a mess from her moving around as she tried to yank her hands out of the cuffs around them. Her wrists were dripping blood, so there was an obvious trail of blood from the bed to the door. All in all, Itachi was fairly upset with the sight in front of him.

"I'm surprised you managed to even get off the bed. I'm surprised at how much you've grown," he said. Akari breathed heavily then screamed and shoved into him, knocking him to the ground. She jumped over him and ran down the hall as fast as she could. She could hear yells from behind her, but she didn't stop. That was until she ran right into someone and fell on her back. Itachi stood above her, furious as he dragged her up by her wrists. She screamed and yelled profanities at him in protest, but he just threw her over his shoulder and walked her back to her room.
