AS YOU SHOULD.

YOU STARED AT HIS PIERCING GAZE that felt like being stabbed through your very soul. Your cheeks flared up with a bright red hue — you hastily looked away, "Stop that." You helplessly yelped.

Lucifer chuckled and set down his stack of papers, "Why so? You fascinate me. How can I stop staring?" his tone dripped with a flirtatious tone that made your stomach grip on itself.

"I don't want you staring at me."

"That won't do." he cheekily replied.

You deeply sighed and picked up one of the books that was scattered on the table, wanting to escape from his gaze; him watching you felt overly uncomfortable.

"It's amusing how you squirm under my gaze." he commented, resting his chin on his palm as he continued to stare at you.

Not having any self-control anymore, you threw the book at him. "Dumbass," you hissed when the book merely grazed his smooth skin.

He could only laugh at your outrage, which made you more frustrated than ever.

"Stop playing with my feelings, stupid demon." you stormed out, leaving nothing but a storm of rage from your stomps and slams from the door.

You massaged your temples as you tried to find a quiet place to settle for a while.

There was a place that Satan took you to, it was in the library. When you pull a specific book, the shelf slides open to an entrance, a path where everything was silent, chill, and calming.

It sounded like it came from a fantasy novel, like a story about a wardrobe being an entrance to another world.

It wasn't anything magical, but it does calm you down.

Once you went inside, you slid the shelf shut and continued your way in the darkness. Trying to feel your phone from your pockets, you cursed when you left it back at Lucifer's room.

He better respect my privacy.

Reaching the place, you took in it's atmosphere. Blue fairy lights hanging on the walls, a messy futon with multiple colorful pillows are on the floor, there are also dozens of books scattered almost everywhere — you had to tiptoe to be careful.

You sighed again and sat down on the futon, raising the thick blanket over your shoulders as you reached down a random book to make yourself forget about him.

To stop existing for a while.

Since thinking about Lucifer is far more worse than being in an another world.

"What do ya mean that you lost her?" Mammon argued back, he grew very protective around you. Now, Lucifer is asking where you were, claiming you stormed out of his room (purposely missing some major details.)

Lucifer furrowed his brows, crossing his arms, "As I said, she stormed off."

Asmo arrived, resting his chin on the couch. "You never said the reason why she stormed out, we know that [name] barely gets angry. So spit it out, Luci." he purred.
